The first MOOD TEASER video (released on July 5) of the pre-debut reality show “NCT Universe: LASTART”, which leads to the selection of NCT NEW TEAM debutants and the team formation process, was released on various social media channels on the 5th.

In this teaser video, the tension rises as the trainees make it to the final after going through fierce practice. The appearance of the trainees revealed through the silhouette, piqued the curiosity of many people, and in the second half of the video, the highlights of the stage performances and the personal messages of the trainees, aroused more interest.

Then recently, the main trailer was just released a few days ago on the 19th, revealing 10 trainees who are participating in the show that will be chosen through a very systematic selection process, finalizing the 4 members. The teaser also shows visits from one of the best SM Entertainment artists like SHINee Taemin, EXO Xiumin, TVXQ Changmin, Super Junior Donghae, and NCT Ten and Taeyong – all there to give supportive advice and help encourage them as mentors.

As the tension rises more and more for K-Pop fans now that both teasers have been released, “NCT Universe: LASTART”, which will broadcast for the first time on July 27 (KST), is a pre-debut reality program that showcases a new team for NCT, one of the three rookie teams mentioned in the ‘SM 3.0: NEW IP 2023’ video. Male trainees participating in this event will be selected as debut members through ongoing missions.

The program title ‘LASTART’ is a compound word of LAST and START, meaning the end of NCT’s infinite expansion and the beginning of a new team. In particular, a lot of interest from global fans has been arising since the news of the launch was announced in that the show not only introduces a new team for NCT, but also gives us a glimpse into the process of launching a new SM Entertainment team that has never been revealed before.

“NCT Universe: LASTART” will be broadcasted in Korea, Japan, and the United States. In Japan, it will be released through Hulu and Nippon TV, and if you live in North America, Central America, or South America, you can watch the show through KOCOWA+ (wavve Americas). Lastly, it will be released through ENA channels and TVing in Korea. Detailed information about the program will be released soon.
