Are you watching Yoo Jae-Suk‘s newest variety show, “How Do You Play?

Yoo Jae-Suk‘s habit of asking celebrities what they do on their day offs gave PD Kim Tae-Ho an idea to create a show about it. And there it begins, PD Kim Tae-Ho, who had worked with Yoo Jae-Suk through another variety show Infinite Challenge, started this show to have celebrities film themselves on their day offs.

Other than celebrities filming themselves during their free time, the show is divided into a few other segments to keep viewers intrigued. Currently, there are five segments with Yoo Jae-Suk as the main host in all of them: Camera Relay, Jo’s Apartment, Yoo-plash, Korea Live, and Bbong For You.

Each segment has its own way of attracting well-known celebrities from different fields to the show! And for many of them, they aren’t really celebrities that we would expect to see on variety shows–because these celebrities just don’t appear on them often.

Here are a few of the most unexpected celebrities that have appeared on “How Do You Play?” so far.

Camera Relay segment (Episodes 1 & 2)

PD Kim Tae-Ho gave two cameras to Yoo Jae-Suk and the camera relay began there. Celebrities who receive the camera film what they do on their days off and pass the camera on to the next one until the camera storage is full.

Lee Dong-Hwi, Gong Myung, Lee Ha-Nee, and Ryu Seung-Ryong

After holding onto the camera for 10 days, veteran model Jang Yoon-Ju who fell in love with it, passed it over to Lee Dong-Hwi reluctantly. In which, Lee Dong-Hwi used the camera to film the cast members of the movie “Extreme Job,” Gong Myung, Lee Ha-Nee, and Ryu Seung-Ryong!

Jo’s Apartment segment (Episodes 3 & 4)

Jo Se-Ho‘s apartment was used to hold a housewarming party and popular celebrities joined the party.

Lee Sung-Kyung

Tae Hang-Ho shocked all the members by inviting his close friend Lee Sung-Kyung to the housewarming party. Even TVXQ’s Yunho looked more nervous than when he was holding a concert.

Yoo-plash segment (Episodes 4, 6, 7, 10-14)

For the project “Yoo-plash,” Yoo Jae-Suk started off with a simple drum beat and other musicians took it from there in a relay format. Talented musicians from different generations were brought together to turn that drum beat into a song.

And there, we have many surprising appearances, from Grey, Melomance’s Jeong Dong-Hwan, Zion. T, to Urban Zakapa!

Here’s one of the songs, Tic Tac Toe, made with Heize, Paul Kim, and Peakboy!

Jeon So-Mi

Jeon So-Mi has also made a brief appearance on the show! So-Mi was asked to sing the chorus of the song that Singer Zion. T was working on, and she completed the recording with Zion. T‘s really detailed descriptions, such as singing like “how you would talk to a friend on the phone while getting a pedicure.”
