“The Real Has Come!” Episodes 21 & 22 Recap:

  • After Tae Kyung’s love confession to Yeon Doo, she wants to address the fact that it was just a spur-of-the-moment way he confessed. Tae Kyung said it was not, but Yeon Doo just refused to listen further. All the remaining family was shocked by the way Yeon Doo yelled out all the wrongdoings and ill-treatment they were giving to Tae Kyung.
  • Chan Sik asks everyone at the diner table to apologize to Tae Kyung and Yeon Doo. Everyone does so except Ms. Eun until Yeon Doo indirectly says, “I will be working at this place called ‘Old School’, teaching this grandmother who cannot read.” And as soon as Yeon Doo finishes her sentence, Ms. Eun reluctantly apologizes because she has to hide the fact that she’s illiterate and won’t let anything or anyone reveal this flaw of hers.
  • Soo Kyung calls Yu Myung to see if signing the contract comes with big money and the chance to play with Yu Myung every day. Then Dae Sang interrupts and abruptly ends the call. Soo Kyum is disappointed but Dae Sang tells her that Yu Myung is just a fraud. When Dae Sang meets Yu Myung face to face, he expresses the fact that it does not give Soo Kyum false hope of being a big YouTuber and she is only a little kid. But Yu Myung gets back and says that the content she creates for young kids who do not have mothers, and how to dress well, is something so inspiring and admirable. And she would really hope that Dae Sang understands. Then Soo Kyum’s actual father, Dong Wook, barges in their conversation and realizes that someone he knows was going after his daughter. And actually, Yu Myung is not just someone he knows but she had several uncomfortable encounters with Dong Wook in the past! He immediately recognizes her as a “crazy girl.” Dong Wook and Yu Myung talk and he remembers her saying, “f we ever coincidently meet again, then we will have to go out.” He got chills and told her that’s not going to happen. But she rolls her eyes and tells him now that she knows that he is a father, her interest in him became little to none.
  • Yeon Doo saw In Ok in a very uncomfortable situation where everyone in the family orders her to cook to their needs. So, Yeon Doo grabs In Ok’s hand and tells everyone that she is on strike for today and that she is going on a date with her. They go on a date together for the very first time.

  • Se Jin overhears Tae Kyung saying that he really likes Yeon Doo, and he gives in on everything just for Yeon Doo. She was super irritated by this comment and is eager to find any fault in their relationship to break them apart. Se Jin then calls Jun Ha to find out anything but he ignores her call.
  • Yeon Doo tells Tae Kyung that she is going to find a place to move to, and Tae Kyung easily says yes. Yeon Doo finds this odd and didn’t expect that kind of reaction from someone that has feelings for her.
  • Yu Myung has finally got a chance to sign a contract with Soo Kyum after her tenacious pursuit.
  • Tae Kyung tries his best to win over Yeon Doo’s heart, after incessantly following Yeon Doo and helping her with whatever she needs.
  • Se Jin meets with Jun Ha to ask some questions regarding Yeon Doo. He wasn’t so willing due to the fact that Se Jin coldly dumped him when he was begging her to move to the States with him. She asks if Yeon Doo’s baby is his, and he firmly says no and that he heard this directly from Yeon Doo.
  • Yeon Doo arbitrarily made the decision to move out to a place where she can live by herself and the baby. So, she looked for a few places to live and finally found a place she planned to move to within two months. When she got home, she spotted In Ok trying to cook for Yeon Doo food that was good for pregnant women. Yeon Doo could not help but tear up after seeing what she has done to everyone by deceiving them.
  • Tae Kyung takes Yeon Doo to a camp sight. He has prepared a romantic camping trip just for Yeon Doo, who has constantly refused his feelings. Yeon Doo also thought about all the past history they had together and realizes that she is at a point where she cannot live without him.
