I am already scared for these two for what might come from lying to everyone….!
Here are the highlights of what happened in episodes 9 & 10 of “The Real Has Come!”
“The Real Has Come!” Episodes 9 & 10 Recap:
- Yeon Doo made a big scene at Tae Kyung’s wedding, and she grabbed him by his hand and took him outside. (It was a true moment of someone left at the altar!) Yeon Doo explained to Tae Kyung why she needs him desperately because her mother Bong Nim has left home leaving what seems to be a suicide note. For Yeon Doo to prevent this from happening, she needs Tae Kyung to go to Bong Nim with her and make Bong Nim believe that Yeon Doo has all future plans figured out with the baby as a father-to-be. Bong Nim was found at the police station after she was mistaken by a police officer as a potential suicide because she was roaming around a bridge where most suicides happen. Bong Nim initially was really going to end her life there, but the fear of going through with it stopped her. Yeon Doo rushes to the police station with Tae Kyung and tells her that Tae Kyung is going to be responsible for Yeon Doo and the baby, so she should not worry at all. Bong Nim did not believe it at first, but when Tae Kyung got down on his knees and begged her, she wavered.
- Ms. Eun was heated with anger after Tae Kyung just left the altar leaving all the families at the wedding ceremony. And Se Jin is in despair. But she cannot just sit back and let the situation win for Yeon Doo.
- Yeon Doo and Tae Kyung decide to act as a real, loving couple and ask for In Ok’s approval. She asks them how they’ve met, and Yeon Doo answers by having a one night stand, which really shocked In Ok, but it seemed to work. Tae Kyung and Yeon Doo say cringe, affectionate words to each other to deceive In Ok’s eyes. Tae Kyung and Yeon Doo reluctantly agree to marry each other because of their needs, but I actually now think that they are both genuinely enjoying the situation.
- Bong Nim attends her school for elders and hears that the principal’s teacher’s daughter’s wedding was interrupted by a woman who was pregnant with the groom. And the principal collapsed and was hurt at the wedding, which threw the whole wedding into total chaos. After Bong Nim heard the story, she thought the situation was a bit similar to what happened to Yeon Doo and Tae Kyung, but she did not take it too seriously.
- Se Jin visits Yeon Doo’s home and threatens Yeon Doo to give up on Tae Kyung’s baby and that Se Jin will happily raise the baby as her own with Tae Kyung. Yeon Doo tells her that that will never ever happen. Se Jin then tells Yeon Doo to take care of Ms. Eun and the situation herself and takes her to Tae Kyung’s home.
- Ms. Eun reprimands Yeon Doo and tells her to get an abortion. Yeon Doo really asks for forgiveness, but Ms. Eun still does not waver a bit. Yeon Doo gets kicked out, but she kneels down in front of Ms. Eun’s house and is adamant about staying until someone comes out and forgives her. When Yeon Doo’s legs start to go numb, she is having second thoughts, maybe this isn’t the right way. But when Se Jin’s mom runs in and grabs Yeon Doo by her head and starts to go mad, Tae Kyung comes in and stops everything.
- Yeon Doo and Tae Kyung go to Tae Kyung’s office and get a check-up. When Yeon Doo listens to her baby’s heartbeat, she is overjoyed with tears. Both Tae Kyung and Yeon Doo realize that this is a special baby because if it wasn’t for this baby, Tae Kyung would have ended up marrying someone he doesn’t love and will be miserable. Tae Kyung thanks Yeon Doo for keeping this special baby. After this beautiful moment, Tae Kyung gets a call from home, and Ms. Eun decides to have a family meeting before proceeding to do anything else.
- When both families meet up for a meeting, everyone is taken by surprise, and Ms. Eun enters the room with Se Jin. Ms. Eun then tells everyone that Se Jin should be at Tae Kyung’s side, not Yeon Doo. Everyone was caught off guard, especially Bong Nim, who took this situation very uncomfortably, calling this whole thing off, but In Ok stops her and genuinely apologizes. Then, In Ok tells them the truth about how Tae Kyung is not the biological grandson of Ms. Eun’s big rich family. But instead of being surprised, Bong Nim empathizes with the possible discrimination that might have taken place during Tae Kyung’s upbringing. (What will they do with the consequences??!? I feel like they got too carried away…)
- In Ok and Bong Nim believes that Yeon Doo and Tae Kyung are going to register as a married couple, so they both take a visit to where the couple is. However, this was just a fake plan to deceive the mothers, and when they found out that they were headed to the town office, both Tae Kyung and Yeon Doo rush there. They cannot really sign the document as a married couple, so they both start to act, AGAIN. They start to nitpick, and the fight starts to escalate up to the point where they decide to break up. LOL! They make this big scene in front of the mothers so they no longer have to sign the document as a married couple.
- Bong Nim and In Ok decide to have the couple live together at Ms. Eun’s guest house. However, Yeon Doo and Tae Kyung strongly refuse. In Ok and Bong Nim find this so strange, but Yeon Doo and Tae Kyung cannot have them doubt the couple, so they reluctantly decide to move in and live together.
- The day before Yeon Doo is leaving home to go live with Tae Kyung, all her family gather and cry their eyes out. It is finally the day Yeon Doo enters Tae Kyung’s home. Ms. Eun acted as she greeted Yeon Doo at first, then she threw salt at Yeon Doo. (This is a symbol of kicking out bad spirits… How rude of her to do this to Yeon Doo!)
