Trailer Deep Dive: “It’s Beautiful Now” Episode 13 Trailer Breakdown

There are so many couples we KOCONUTS need to follow from this drama. To give you guys a clearer vision of what’s going on until now, let me debrief you about the couple’s happenings to date. First, Soo Jae and Yuna, the youngest couple in the story, started off as a friendship, but now it evolved into a real relationship. Kyung Chul and Jung Ja, the oldest couple in the story, who both met each other in a Yoga class, are currently at a very early stage of “situationship.” Yoon Jae and Hae Joon is a typical love-hate relationship or I should say it is a “situationship,” since Yoon Jae does not want anything so serious at the moment. Last but not least, Hyun Jae and Mi Rae seem like the most genuine couple so far, and it looks like the relationship will grow positively, except for the fact that Hyun Jae’s ex, Young Eun, is involved. • Hyun Jae Helps Mi Rae

When Mi Rae had a panic attack after knowing she had lost her client, Hyun Jae came right away to help her. With his skillful handling of the situation, Mi Rae was able to find the client right before she almost committed suicide. Due to this incident, Mi Rae and Hyun Jae got closer

• Soo Jae and Yu Na after the Kiss…

After Soo Jae and Yu Na’s romantic kiss near Han River, their relationship went to another level. Their relationship first started as a friendship and then went to a partnership where they deceive their family members to acquire an apartment. But in the process of that, they both grew on each other.

• Kyung Ae Changes her Mind

Kyung Ae, who was relentless about all three sons getting married, now changed her mind after hearing that half of the men in their 40s haven’t married. Kyung Ae takes the burden off Yoon Jae’s shoulder, telling him that he doesn’t have to get married if he doesn’t want to. Yoon Jae is rather suspicious about why his mother changed her mind all of sudden. He then texts Hae Joon to meet up. Hae Joon is ecstatic and thinks that she is finally going to be asked out, but the situation flips, And Yoon Jae tells her he does not have feelings for her… LOL! He doesn’t hate her but doesn’t want anything serious either, so then Hae Joon suggests, and both decide, that they should be in “situationship” rather than a “relationship.”

• Hyun Jae’s Ex Meets Mi Rae

Hyun Jae’s ex-girlfriend becomes Mi Rae’s client. She probably has a malicious plan behind it but anyway, Hyun Jae’s ex-girlfriend gets fashion help from Mi Rae. When she was asking for fashion advice, the ex asked Mi Rae for a look that could be appealing enough to bring the old boyfriend back. Mi Rae remains calm, keeps her composure, and helps Hyun Jae’s ex with kindness. Hyun Jae’s ex tells him.

• What Will Happen Next?

Hyun Jae’s ex calls him while she is waiting for Mi Rae in her office. The ex tells Hyun Jae that Mi Rae stormed out of the office after she told her that they’ve slept together. Hyun Jae is angry and he runs to go meet them both. However, he does not know that this was all a lie that his ex was coming up with. Mi Rae actually went to go get coffee, and when Mi Rae came back the ex asked Mi Rae to go have a drink together. (I don’t know where this is going, but the ex is so weird..)

• Soo Jae is the Winner

Soo Jae summons everyone into the living room to share some great news. Soo Jae tells everyone that he is officially going to get married. Before everyone gets excited about this news, Yoon Jae interrupts and tells everyone that he has met someone that he likes. All the family members are shocked and confused now. Soo Jae is startled and does not know what to do now

• Hyun Jae is Flabbergasted

When Hyun Jae finally arrives at the place where he told him to meet, Young Eun was nowhere to be found and Mi Rae is there to greet him. Mi Rae is confused about why Hyun Jae is here, but Young Eun calls and tells them that she is home. Mi Rae, still confused, tells Hyun Jae she does not want to be in the middle of their love-hate relationship. Hyun Jae asks Mi Rae to have dinner together, but she refuses. Hyun Jae finally confesses that he likes her.

Phew! So many things are going on, it’s hard to keep track! The character that I want to point out is Young Eun, Hyun Jae’s ex. She is a true antagonist at the moment. Poor Mi Rae has to go through this, and I hope she does not get hurt!

Hae Joon asks Young Eun if she still has feelings for Hyun Jae.

Young Ae points out a person on television (which is Hae Joon) and tells Yoon Jae that someone like her would be a perfect example of a woman not to get married to.

Kyung Ae calls Yu Na and tells her that she will show her the apartment that Soo Jae and Yu Na will live in once they get married.

Soo Jae really pushes Yu Na that he genuinely wants to get married to her but Yu Na strongly does not like this idea that is different from the initial purpose of why they all started this marriage scam from the beginning.

Jung Ja asks Kyung Chul if she will pay for the ride and asks him to take her to some places. They go on a trip, but the scene suddenly turns to where everyone is crying… (What happened?!?!?..)
