Trailer Deep Dive: “Young Lady and Gentleman” Episode 21 Trailer Breakdown

This week’s “Young Lady and Gentleman” was very dynamic and it was somewhat? fun watching Young Guk as a 22 year old. 😛 

Here are the highlights!

• Sa Ra Dan Dan Gets Into a Fight!

Sa Ra discriminates between Se Chan and Se Jong because she only takes  her biological son Se Jong’s side. And On top of that, Sa Ra takes advantage of the fact that she will soon be the wife of Young Guk to use it against Dan Dan. Dan Dan confesses to Young Guk in how she treated Se Chan poorly.

• Sa Ra’s Future Plan

Sa Ra believes so firmly that she will be the next lady of Young Guk’s company. She has been waiting all these years to finally be who she wanted to be and decided the icing on the cake will be to get married on Christmas Eve. However when Young Guk tells this news to his friend, everything changes. Young Guk hears for the first time that Sa Ra and Young Guk were never going out in the first place and, in fact, he is going out with someone way younger than him!

• Young Guk Thinks he Cheated on Sa Ra…OMG

So, after hearing that from his friend, he mistakenly thinks that he cheated on Sa Ra instead of knowing the truth because Sa Ra lied and said they were a couple before he lost his memory, UGH! To make up for what he did, (though he didn’t do anything!) Young Guk plans on proposing to Sa Ra with a ring. However, when they spend a romantic night together, Young Guk instinctively pushes Sa Ra away just when they were about to kiss. Maybe his memories are lost but his heart knows the truth!

• Se Ryung Comes Back

After running away from the altar and going to New York, Se Ryung comes back to see Dae Bum and asks him to leave with her. It is such a touchy, heartfelt moment when the two finally unite.

• Dan Dan Decides to Go to the States

Dan Dan just couldn’t bear watching Young Guk and Sa Ratogether. It was too heartbreaking! So she decides to tell Ana that she wants to leave to the States after 6 months when Ana leaves. Ana is ecstatic to leave together with her biological daughter.

• Young Guk Postpones the Wedding

Young Guk tries his best to feel the same way Sa Ra is feeling towards him, but he just can’t do it. He is in distress and can no longer put up with“pretending” to live this life that he has to live. So, he tells his kids that he will just think of them as his brothers and sisters instead of his own children because that’s how he is feeling right now. He says he will live as a 22-year-old and that no one can stop him. But I guess there are good sides to this too. Young Guk plays with the kids more often and, since he is a 22-year-old father, the kids enjoy this young dad too.

• Young Guk’s Heart is Beating!

When the kids, Dan Dan, and Young Guk were playing catch ball, Dan Dan falls, but Young Guk catches her and they fall together. CLICHE ALERT! But, he also instinctively kisses her and she slaps him! What a rollercoaster!

Trailer Breakdown Episode 21: Who the heck is Hyun Bin?!!?

There was so much to cover in episodes 19 and 20, Young Guk acting reasonably capricious due to his memory loss, Youg Guk kissing Dan Dan, and Dan Dan slapping Young Guk! I have no idea how the story will unfold in the next episode.

But according to the trailer, after that awkward kiss Young Guk is more confused about his feelings. At the same time, Sa Ra is disappointed that nothing is going to plan.

Se Ryun and Dae Bum plan a future together.

Dan Dan goes to an English Academy to prepare for her leave in 6 months, and she meets this guy named “Hyun Bin.” (I feel like this character will be a trigger to a big story change!)

And, finally, Ae Ryun pushes Young Guk to get engaged if it is difficult for him to get married.

What do you guys all think will happen in Episode 21? I am so curious about this new character Hyun Bin!!!
