Recently, 2PM’s JUNHO is taking a tiny break from the K-Pop stage and making a great impression in the K-Drama world. His recent hit “The Red Sleeve” has reaffirmed his talent as a great actor, gaining him a nomination for the Grand Acting Award  at the “2021 MBC Drama Awards.” Though Namkoong Min (“The Veil”) walked away as the winner, I think we can all say Jun Ho was well in the running!

Well then, shall we check out some of Lee Jun Ho’s best works so far?

Bromance Overload, “Good Manager”

A massive hit for KBS, in this drama, Lee Jun Ho played Seo Yool, a smart and versatile financial crimes prosecutor who became Finance Director of a TQ group. Nobody could compete against him until Manager Kim (Namkoong Min)  showed up.

The series started really strong and the ratings went up each week. During the airing, Namkoong Min and Lee Jun Ho were a hot topic due to their quirky, mischievous bromance that portrayed typical, day-to-day, office interactions in a comedic way.

Story: “Embezzlement King and Head of Accounting” Kim Seongryong has a knack for all things money and enters TQ Group for a big haul. But, ironically, hilariously, and against all logic, he does his best to save this failing company in this office comedy.

Cast: Namkoong Min, Nam Sang Mi, Lee Jun Ho, Jung Hye Sung

Genre: Romantic Comedy

Hold Your Appetite for “Wok of Love”

I must say, I gained at least 10lbs watching this drama! Lee Jun Ho was again a hot topic while this aired due to his great mukbang” acting skills that made all the viewers hungry. (ie. he looked like a real chef that made excellent food!)

Lee Jun Ho played Seo Poong and had great chemistry with Jung Ryeo Won who played Dan Sae Woo.

Story: This is a love story hotter than the boiling oil in a sizzling hot wok! Across the street of a 6-star Hotel Giant, there stands a small, shabby Chinese restaurant called Hungry Wok. Chil Seong, the owner of the restaurant, originally bought  the restaurant to provide a place of work for his former prison mates. One day, a man and a woman, whose lives turned upside down overnight, come to visit Chil Seong. As a former star chef, Seo Poong, and a broke heiress, Sae Woo, both are in need of Chil Seong’s help so they can get back on their feet. Tune in to “Wok of Love” and experience the passion and love that can be found in the hectic working environment of a kitchen.

Cast: Lee Jun Ho, Jang Hyuk, Jung Ryeo Won

Genre: Romantic Comedy

Have you guys watched these two dramas? What did you think of Jun Ho’s acting?

And, if you are just starting to become a fan of Lee Jun Ho, you can definitely check these K-Dramas out on KOCOWA.

Lee Jun-Ho, to me, is now one of the best actors in the world. I watched him in Rain or Shine. When I started watching ‘The Red Sleeve’, I did not know he was playing the lead until I googled the cast. JunHo is so ‘in character’ in any role he plays that you might not realize it is him for a while. Mesmerizing actor!!!
