Revenge is the main objective of the protagonist in this melodrama. Growing up, Bong Sun Hwa (Eom Hyun Kyung) fell in love with her neighbor, Moon Sang Hyeok (Han Ki Woong). The pair began dating and had a baby. Unfortunately, Sang Hyeok started an illicit affair with a rich girl named Yoon Jae Kyung (Oh Seung A) and decided to dump Sun Hwa and the baby. His greedy pursuit left Sun Hwa on a downward spiral were her baby dies, and she’s framed for murder. Despite all the hardship that Song Hwa endured, she appears to be a cheerful and optimistic young woman. On the road to her revenge, she even catches the eye of Jae Kyung’s stepbrother, Yoon Jae Min (Cha Seo Won). He falls head over heels in love with her.
Wealth and high social status are the goals for wife, mom and driven white-collar worker Seo Cho Hee (Han Da Gam). She is determined to secure a home in the Gangnam area that will help her daughter’s education and give her family the life they deserve. After working over a decade as an advertising company’s account executive combined with her idealist husband’s salary as a college professor, they struggle to combat the rising cost of living in Gangnam. In addition, her father-in-law’s death made Cho Hee inherit her in-laws’ issues too. The wealth she was accustomed to in her youth has been completely washed away by her current circumstances. Can she fulfill her ultimate dream of residing comfortably in Gangnam and find happiness?
Best friends becoming rivals in love is the key to this melodrama. Oh So Ri (T-ara’s Hahm Eun Jung) is the CEO of an online shopping mall, and she created the company with her longtime best friends Park Ha Ru (Kim Jin Yeop) and Kang Yun A (Son Sung Yoon). Little does So Ri know, Yun A is hopelessly in love with Ha Ru, and she relentlessly pursues him. Yun A is the picture perfect friend in front of So Ri, however, she is actually very deceptive. Viewers can make an educated guess that So Ri and Ha Ru are meant to be together, and we will be rooting for that promise until the very last episode. One day, So Ri’s parents get divorced and her dad marries Ha Ru’s mom. The love twist here is that So Ri and Ha Ru’s mom’s were best friends as well.
