Let’s leave 2020 in the rearview mirror. 2021 hasn’t exactly started out great, but let’s do the best we can to focus on some fun and making some unique 2021 New Year’s Resolutions. We’ll keep the bar low and suggest 4 very achievable New Year’s resolutions for 2021 for you!

#1 – Don’t get fit, get entertained!

We’ve had it real tough last year, so let’s cut ourselves some slack. No more tough exercise routines that leave us gasping for air. We’ll keep ourselves happy by snuggling up in bed under our blankets and binge-watch Korean TV series because they are just so entertaining, just like HWASA on “Home Alone!”

#2 – Try out a new way to travel

What’s a safe way to travel despite the ongoing pandemic? Koreans are all about souped-up camper vans these days since they can’t travel by plane. Try out this new trendy way to travel with your favorite Korean stars by watching them on travel shows!

If you happen to become interested in doing the same, “I Was A Car” is a new travel variety show, starring Ra Mi Ran, Kim Sook, Jung Hyuk, that provides real good tips for camping in camper vans!

#3 – Learn the lingo of a new language

Do you perhaps know what the Korean word “makjang” means?

A “makjang” series is, simply put, an exaggerated drama. Ridiculous, unrealistic and abnormal situations are normal in these series. Some of the most common storylines include absurd birth secrets, murders, crazy revenge plots, and more. Plot twists are almost never predictable because of these. Some can be fun and will promise to take you on a wild roller coaster ride, and all they ask of you is to forget about logic for the time being.

The series “The Penthouse” just fits its definition so well and it’s one of the most popular “makjang” series lately. Try it out when you’re all buckled up and ready for the rollercoaster ride filled with makjang elements!

#4 – See how K-pop stars are just like the rest of us

News flash! K-pop idols live their day-to-day lives just like us. They make delicious food at home (and sometimes fail), spend their time doing the most mundane things like playing video games, watching television shows, taking a walk in the park, and more! In the video above, EXO’s Kai in “Home Alone” explains that he simply loves eating meat so much that cooking meat became his hobby.

Later, the idol continues his mundane day by excitedly welcoming his niece and nephew, then making them fried rice and feeding them like an experienced babysitter.
