BTS is everywhere I look these days – dominating the Billboard Top 100 charts, performing at the Grammys, and winning awards at music shows all over Asia. These idols are at the top of their game!

And they’re at the top for a very good reason. The members of BTS — Kim Namjoon, Kim Seokjin, Min Yoongi, Jung Hoseok , Park Jimin, Kim Taehyung, and Jeon Jungkook — have worked so hard since 2013, pouring their whole hearts and souls into their music and performances. Now they are masters of their craft, and the world knows it.

But what if you want to know more about the men behind the music? KOCOWA has a great collection of BTS content that shows all the talent and fun and deep thoughts that the members have. You can check out programs like “2021 Special Talk Show – Let’s BTS” (coming March 29th ), which includes onstage and personal stories about BTS. Or see the “KBS News9 interview with BTS,” where the president of Korea extends his congratulations to BTS and Lee So Jung conducts an in-depth interview with them about the rise of “Dynamite” and the frustration of not being able to have concerts during the pandemic.

For a glimpse into the history of BTS, watch “THE SHOW Play with BTS.” You should also make time for “The BTS Variety Chronicles,” a collection of the funniest moments with BTS on variety shows, as well as unaired interview footage. And we all know that when BTS is funny, they are FUNNY.

“Rookie King: Channel BTS” *Coming on April 1st on KOCOWA

But before ALL of this, when BTS was still in its infancy, there was “Rookie King: Channel BTS” (Coming on April 1st on KOCOWA). Filmed in 2013, Rookie King was a weekly presentation that covered two months of BTS playing games, filming music videos, and being photographed for album covers. The members even held a Bangtan Lotto and gave away some of their own personal items to fans! From the games and behind the scenes at the music video shoots, it’s easy to see the rapport that the members had already built, even as they torment each other with spicy food, finger flicks, and insect swatters.

Have you ever seen the video clip where BTS unloads their hearts to each other and to their management? J-Hope calls out their manager for getting them beef bulgogi boxes for lunch for three weeks in a row. Jimin says he doesn’t want to be petlike a little kid anymore. Suga calls out Bang PD for promising him that he wouldn’t have to dance and going back on that promise. All of it, along with the bashful responses from the managers, Bang PD, and even their dance coordinator, can be found in “Rookie King: Channel BTS.”

But that wasn’t all! I laughed so much at the horse races in hanbok, the archery contest, and the cooking competition that NO ONE wins thanks to V and some salt. The interviews with the auntie who fed them while they were training, as well as the makeup coordinators who handled the idols and their personal styles, were enlightening – it was awesome to see how much love and care BTS has been receiving since the beginning. And sports competitions were so much fun, thanks to members of BTS being co-announcers with Yeomdda. Turns out that Suga has a mean layup – I had NO IDEA he was so good with a basketball!

There’s something special about seeing the men of Bangtan in their earliest days, before they were shaped by the expectations of their audiences and their critics. Their smiles and the way they tease and laugh with each other are a delight to watch, and it makes it even easier to fall in love with the men who are BTS.

While waiting for “Rookie King: Channel BTS” right here on KOCOWA starting on April 1st , why don’t you check out shows like “2021 Special Talk Show – Let’s BTS,” “KBS News9 interview with BTS,” “THE SHOW Play with BTS,” “The BTS Variety Chronicles,” all starring BTS?

Will you be watching it with me?
