- Ju Ah’s mother joins the company for the upcoming project, putting Hyun Bin on edge. Determined to make a strong impression, he finds himself more cautious than ever around her.
- Meanwhile, Dong Ik goes out of his way to keep Jeong Han at Onjeong Market, even offering to teach him golf. But with their clashing personalities and lingering tension, the two can’t seem to get along without butting heads.
- Elsewhere, Hye Su, Hyun Bin’s close friend and the company’s VP, reaches out to Se Ri with an invitation to an exclusive VIP event. On the surface, it seems like a generous gesture, but Hye Su has a hidden agenda. Still rooting for Hyun Bin and Ju Ah, she believes the only thing standing in their way is the long-standing feud between their families. Hoping to close that gap, she secretly invites both families, setting the stage for a “coincidental” meeting.
- At the event, both families come face-to-face under Hye Su’s careful planning. But things quickly take an unexpected turn. While in the restroom, Hye Su overhears Se Ri on the phone, completely misunderstanding the situation, believing the VIP invitation signals an upcoming marriage between Hyun Bin and Hye Su. To make matters worse, Se Ri ends up getting injured during a golf demonstration, and Hye Su’s well-intentioned plan begins to unravel.
- Back at the restaurant, Woo Jae crosses paths again with the mysterious woman he once helped save a stranger with at the market. Curious, he asks about her fluent English and learns she’s from the U.S., having returned to Korea in search of someone.
- Things take a darker turn for Ju Ah when footage from the event is released to the public without her knowledge. What actually happened was a selfless act: Ju Ah pushed Se Ri out of the way to protect her from an incoming golf ball. But the clip is twisted to make it look like she intentionally caused Se Ri to fall, putting her reputation at risk.
