“Recipe For Love” Episodes 19 & 20 Recap:
- Se Ri crosses paths with a stranger right after visiting a fortuneteller, who tells her that her guilt won’t disappear just by raising someone else’s child. Already shaken, Se Ri is in no mood when she nearly bumps into a girl on a bicycle. She tells her to be careful in a cold manner and offers her phone number just in case, but the girl refuses and rides off, leaving Se Ri unsettled.
- Meanwhile, Ju Ah secretly visits Hyun Bin’s place to cook him a surprise meal. But just as she finishes, Se Ri unexpectedly shows up with chicken soup. Panicked, Ju Ah hides in the bathroom, hoping she won’t be discovered. When Hyun Bin returns home, he’s happy to see Se Ri, but the mood quickly shifts. During their conversation, he learns that Se Ri and his father intentionally released footage that made it look like Ju Ah pushed Se Ri, putting her in serious trouble at work. Shocked and disappointed, Hyun Bin can’t believe his own family would go that far. Feeling guilty, he immediately asks Se Ri and Dong Ik to sincerely apologize to Jeong Han and his family.
- At Onjeong Market, rumors spread about a thief targeting shops at night, but it turns out to be very real. Min Seo, who was robbed at her guesthouse, ends up sleeping at the restaurant where she works. Worried, Woo Jae and Eun Bin rush over to check on her. Relieved to find her safe, Eun Bin invites Min Seo to stay at her place. At the same time, Dong Ik waits at Jeong Han’s office in the market, hoping to apologize. But before he gets the chance, they encounter the armed robber, and Dong Ik steps in to protect Jeong Han, ultimately getting stabbed. His apology will have to wait.
- After the truth about the footage comes out, Ju Ah and Hyun Bin decide to take a break. Torn between her feelings and the reality of their families’ conflict, Ju Ah struggles to make a decision. But in the end, she realizes she can’t let him go. She chooses to forgive Hyun Bin and get back together, asking him not to push for an apology from his father and Se Ri, for everyone’s sake.
- Eun Bin brings Min Seo home, and Se Ri is stunned to realize she’s the same girl from the earlier encounter. Despite the awkward start, Eun Bin and Min Seo quickly grow close, spending the night chatting like sisters at a sleepover.
- Hyun Bin later tells his father that there’s no need to apologize anymore, respecting Ju Ah’s wishes. But just when things seem to settle, everything spirals again and Dong Ik accidentally sends the raw footage to Jeong Han. As Jeong Han watches the clip, he begins to piece everything together, realizing that Se Ri and Dong Ik were behind it all.
