We’re a month into 2019, school has begun, and work has been the same all year round – February is just another month of routine work that we’re used to. Fortunately for drama and variety show lovers, we’ve always had dramas and variety shows to brighten up our dull days. And this February, we’re getting another wave of new dramas and variety shows!
Below is a list of dramas and variety shows that might help you look forward to February!
DRAMAS
Spring Turns to Spring
Airing: On Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Starring: Lee Yoo-Ri, Uhm Ji-Won, Lee Jong-Hyuk, Choi Byung-Mo.
Drama airs after: Children of Nobody.
Synopsis: Kim Bo-Mi (Lee Yoo-Ri) is a news anchorwoman who is self-centered. Lee Bom (Uhm Ji-Won) used to be a top star, but she’s now a loving mother and wife. They both switch bodies and have to live each other’s lives for the time being.
Quick Review: I didn’t have high expectations for this drama because of its plot. Body switches have been done multiple times over the past few years. The most recent one we have is Room No. 9 with Kim Hee-Sun and Kim Hae-Sook which was aired only 2 months ago. Room No. 9 was heavy and dark, it made me detest the main characters so much that I dread watching it a little. Spring Turns to Spring has a completely different mood to it, it’s light and comedic. Both characters have contrasting personalities and they made it interesting to watch whenever they do the switch. It’s not heavy on the plot, no shocking plot twists (for now), and nothing too exciting to keep me at the edge of my seat. Perfect for viewers who are looking for a relaxing drama to give them a good laugh.
