Cheon Soo struggles financially, especially since he must send money to his family abroad every month. Losing both his job and his older brother has made everyday life even more challenging for him.

After getting extremely drunk, Kwang Sook can’t remember anything from the luxurious hotel party—and she even loses her phone. When she calls it, someone answers. The voice sounds familiar, reminding her of someone she knows, but either way, she’s relieved to have her phone back.

Se Ri goes out of her way to impress Beom Soo, while Bom begins to develop feelings for Kang Soo.
Dong Seok, the owner of LX Hotel, organizes a meeting to discuss a new dining menu. During the meeting, he recommended a makgeolli he recently tried—one he believes will pair well with the hotel’s dishes—and introduced Eagle Brewery.

Go Tak, harboring ill intentions, bluntly speaks with the bank that works with Eagle Brewery. He warns them that the brewery is on the brink of bankruptcy following the owner’s fatal car accident. As a result, the bank stops extending loan maturities to Eagle Brewery, putting the company at risk. Go Tak then visits Eagle Brewery, attempting to acquire it, but Kwang Sook remains determined to keep the company.

Kwang Sook receives a call that reinforces her commitment to preserving the company. LX Hotel has requested that she bring her new makgeolli for a tasting session. Overjoyed that such a prestigious hotel is interested in her brand, she heads there immediately with boxes of makgeolli. At the hotel, she sees Dong Seok stepping into a fancy car with a chauffeur—an odd sight since she always assumed he was merely a hotel lobbyist. After asking around, she learns that he is, in fact, the owner of LX Hotel, leaving her both shocked and embarrassed by her previous behavior and unreserved attitude toward him.
Shortly after, Kwang Sook receives a call that marks a turning point for Eagle Brewery: LX Hotel has decided to purchase her liquor.

Ok Boon, a long-time admirer of Hong Soo, dislikes the other women who interfere with him—even though Hong Soo is oblivious to Ok Boon’s feelings for him.
Beom Soo finds himself in a predicament when he has to lecture without a babysitter for his adorable daughter. He ends up taking her to the university, where Se Ri volunteers to look after her. Eager to impress Beom Soo and redeem herself for past mistakes, Se Ri seizes the opportunity. Although initially hesitant—having never cared for a baby before—she quickly bonds with the child. Beom Soo even catches a glimpse of Se Ri and his daughter enjoying a playful stroll outside.
Kang Soo suffers from chronic tinnitus as a result of his constant diving and prolonged exposure underwater.
Kwang Sook rejects offers from Shilla Brewery and Dok Go Tak, and Go Tak is appalled that LX Hotel’s Dong Seok is purchasing liquor from Eagle Brewery rather than from Shilla Brewery.

During a marine exercise, Kang Soo suffers a serious accident and is rushed to the hospital. Mi Ae, who had come to speak with Kyul—whom she hopes will eventually marry her daughter Se Ri—witnesses the scene and breaks down in tears.

Kang Soo finally awakens in the hospital, though he fails to recognize his brothers.
Concerned for Kang Soo, Mi Ae visits the hospital to ensure his well-being.
Ok Boon ends up in a confrontation with a woman who persistently flirts with Hong Soo.
Both Kwang Sook and the brothers are deeply worried about Kang Soo, with Kwang Sook blaming herself for the string of mishaps.
