Keeping your grades up is hard enough. Keeping your vampire identity a secret? That’s a whole different school problem.
Get ready for “Francesca Next Door,” an upcoming teen vampire romance starring Han Su Ah, Kim Hyun Jin, and Lee Seung Gyu. With a transfer student hiding a dangerous secret and a class president whose ordinary life is about to get complicated, this K-Drama puts a supernatural spin on falling in love for the first time.
What Is “Francesca Next Door” About?
Pi Na Young isn’t your average transfer student. Arriving from Romania, she’s a vampire trying to find her place in the human world, and adjusting to a Korean high school comes with plenty of challenges.
Enter Jang U Ju, a model student and class president with his sights set on medical school. When he becomes involved in Na Young’s school life, his carefully planned routine takes an unexpected turn.
Helping the new student settle in is one thing. Finding out she’s a vampire? That definitely wasn’t on his study schedule.
Meet the Cast
Han Su Ah as Pi Na Young
A vampire navigating life among humans, Na Young has more to worry about than fitting in with her classmates. Keeping her identity hidden might be her toughest assignment yet.
Kim Hyun Jin as Jang U Ju
Focused, responsible, and working toward medical school, U Ju seems like the last person who would get caught up in supernatural chaos. Then Na Young arrives.
Lee Seung Gyu as Yoo Hyeol
Another vampire enters the picture, adding a new complication to Na Young’s life, and giving viewers one more reason to keep watching.
A Secret That Brings Them Closer
The trailer offers a glimpse of what happens when U Ju discovers Na Young’s true identity. The two make a secret agreement, but keeping her secret may be easier than making sense of the feelings between them.
And when a nosebleed puts Na Young’s self-control to the test, suddenly getting close to her classmate becomes a much riskier proposition.
First love already makes your heart race. Add vampire instincts, and things get complicated fast.
