KOCOWA+ wants to extend a very happy AAPI Month to everyone, and to celebrate we have lots of fun things planned this month as we look at the evolution of KOCOWA+ right alongside the evolution of Korean entertainment with K-Pop, K-Dramas, and K-Movies recently exploding in popularity outside of the East to conquer the West! And we have been here every step of the way.

But before we divulge all the fun things we will have to offer this month, we have a classic question for all the oldie K-Drama fans out there. You know who you are, the fans who watched K-Dramas raw to decipher what the body language could possibly mean, then scoured the internet for the recap to understand what in the world was going on, then rewatched it again raw with a better understanding, until you could finally watch it with English subs provided by the amazing fan group “With S2.”

Sigh, those were the days… *said not so fondly and yet kind of fondly*

Along those line, our big question is, what is your favorite classic K-Drama? And by classic, we mean something that came out before 2010. Have you watched one? If not, you need to get on it because those dramas are gems for a reason!

I’ll go first: “Coffee Prince” (obsessed), “The Slave Hunters” (aka Chuno aka my gateway drama aka the best thing ever), “My Lovely Sam Soon” (adorable), and “Pasta” (which barely makes the cut as a 2010 drama, but it’s a charmer!).

Now it’s your turn!
