Happy Valentine’s day, KOCONUTS! How is your Valentine’s day going so far? Any exchanging of the chocolate to show your love? Or, did you get any cute text saying, “I like you”?

In K-Dramas, I really love how the guys don’t just say “I love you” because they have other ways of saying that, which makes our hearts flutter. Now, let’s talk about our favorite K-Drama confessions, and maybe you can use this as inspiration for when you express your feelings to your special someone!

Into the Ring

“I did it because it was you. Your hideout, the dumplings, the relay. Because it was you. I’m saying It was about you Goo Se Ra. It was you from the start.

Seo Gong Myung

There are different kinds of K-Drama confessions, like when it’s an accidental confession, when it’s a drunk one, and most of the time when the main characters are in a heated argument. What makes this confession a lot sweeter is when we know that Gong Myung is the type of person who doesn’t care about his environment, but when he gets closer to Se Ra again, he did a lot of things he didn’t expect he would do and it’s all because of her. He fell in love with his childhood friend, who’s now his superior.

Cheer Up

Hae Yi I like you. It’s my first time telling someone I like her, you know. It’s easy to say “Will you go out with me?” but, to say “I like you,” I was little scared. My life motto is to welcome whoever likes me and not to stop whoever leaves me but even when I know you don’t like me, I still like you

Jin Sun Ho

“Cheer Up” really gave us two confessions in one episode with Sun Ho first confesses his unrequited love for Hae Yi with Jukjae’s song in the background. I’m team Jung Woo, but I can’t deny that this confession moved my heart.

“Don’t get sick Do Hae Yi. Don’t get hurt too. I like you Hae Yi ah. I like you”

Park Jung Woo

And this simple confession from Jung Woo to a sleeping Hae Yi is a lot more special since he finally accepted his feelings after pushing her away. Episode 9 really gave us all the feels.

Once Again

I’m not the type to help others and make time for them for no reason. I went to the library just to see you. Because I wanted to. I was flustered at first too. I figured the feelings were plain friendship but it turns out that I like you.

Jae Suk

This is one of my favorite K-Drama confessions because it came from my favorite second male lead, Yoon Jae Suk, who’s a walking green flag. Ever since he got closer to Da Hee, he made sure that she was comfortable around him and was there whenever she was having a hard time. These two are one of the best second-lead couples in K-Drama land!

The Law Cafe

“I like you, since the very first time, there’s no one else but you.”

Kim Jung Ho

Kim Jung Ho has been trying to reassure Kim Yu Ri of his affection ever since they reunited, and this confession is the one where he finally let it all out. This couple gave us a good slow burn because they have known each other for 15 years, and finally, we got to witness this beautiful moment.

Do You Like Brahms?

“I like you. I like you. I like you. I came to tell you this.”

Park Joon Young

Sometimes, we don’t need a lot of flowery words to express what we feel because the eyes and the way we speak already tell us a lot. What makes this confession beautiful is the way Joon Young expressed his feelings to her. Chae Song Ah was the first one who confessed her feelings, and it took us a lot of episodes to see Joon Young reciprocate them back.

to. Jenny

I have to tell you, I have to tell you now. Before everything about you fades away. I’ll sing my song to you now. I’ll stand right here and sing it to you. To you.

Jeong Min

Sometimes, there are things that are hard to express through conversation, and we can see that with Jeong Min confessing his love through a song. This is his way of putting into words and music his deepest, most heartfelt emotions about Na Ra.

The Forbidden Marriage

Do you remember how I was before I met you? You’re not here as someone’s replacement. To me, there is no one like you. I So Rang you. To me, So Rang means that I love you a lot.”

Lee Heon

Despite having a not-so-beautiful start with a misunderstanding, it doesn’t stop the Joseon king and a scammer who claims she has divine powers to fall in love with each other. Knowing that it took King Lee Heon seven years to forgive and forget his late wife, adds depth to his confession. That he expressed his sentiments through a wordplay on the name “So Rang” is both clever and endearing.

“Run On”

Your affection for me gives me meaning and values. But I wasn’t sure if you had feelings for me the same way I do about you. I wonder if you also want to hold my hand, hug me and kiss me. Because I do.

Ki Seon Gyeom

And my favorite K-Drama confession ever came from Ki Seon Gyeom. The way he expressed his feelings about how Mi Joo completed him as a person and how she makes him feel better, and how he doesn’t want to burden her with his feelings…just so good.

Angel’s Last Mission: Love

Someone who exists just for you. The goal of my life is you.

Kim Dan

Angel Kim Dan made one of the most moving confessions ever. Just by revealing that Yeon Seo is the very reason he exists, he has demonstrated the reality of fate and destiny to each and every one of us.

Fight For My Way

I love you. I immaturely, totally love you to the point where I’m going to go crazy and die. I love you like crazy, Choi Ae Ra”

Ko Dong Man

Dong Man and Ae Ra are longtime best friends, so we’re used to watching them joke around; but, when they saw each other in a new light, they struggled to determine whether their feelings for each other were platonic or more than that. Ko Dong Man telling this confession to Ae Ra is everything we all have been waiting for!
