Ratings for the first 4 episodes: 6.1-7.4%

Synopsis: Na Jeong-Sun (Jang Na-Ra) receives a mysterious text message one day. It reads that her husband, Park Sung-Joon (Lee Sang-Yun), is having an affair with a colleague she is working with.

It’s a suspense-filled drama! So far, suspense is built up rather skillfully for the first 4 episodes and it keeps one really curious while watching. Every character has a secret that is waiting to be revealed. Each secret seems like a ticking time bomb waiting to make a mess and ruin relationships.

Only the first few episodes have been released for now, but the ratings seem to be looking good and are steadily increasing.

The Last Empress (2018-2019)

Ratings: 5.7-17.9%

Main Cast: Jang Na-Ra, Choi Jin-Hyuk, Shin Sung-Rok, Lee Elijah.

Synopsis: Set in present day Korea, the country is ruled by a constitutional monarchy. Oh Ssu-Ni (Jang Na-Ra) is an ordinary and innocent girl who suddenly marries Emperor Lee Hyuk (Shin Sung-Rok) one day. Together with her bodyguard Na Wang-Sik (Choi Jin-Hyuk), she uncovers the dirty secrets that the royal family has been hiding.

The drama is so thrilling that it could hook you up within the first few episodes. The exaggerated storyline makes it cartoonish and turns it into satire. But that is exactly the charm of it. It is what makes the drama extremely addictive, along with its nonsensical, yet exciting twists and turns. As long as you are ready to forget about logic, the drama has the potential to keep you on the edge of your seat!

Go Back Couple (2017)

Ratings: 4.6-7.3%

Main Cast: Jang Na-Ra, Son Ho-Jun, Heo Jeong-Min, Han Bo-Reum, Jang Ki-Yong.

Synopsis: Ma Jin-Joo (Jang Na-Ra) and Choi Ban-Do (Son Ho-Jun) are both 38 years old and married. They have a son together. Daily routine lives left them extremely exhausted and they grew to dislike each other. Just as they decided to get a divorce, the couple travels back in time and find themselves as 20-year-old university students again.

An emotional rollercoaster ride. The heartwarming drama doesn’t only touch on the challenges of long-term relationships realistically, but also catches one off guard with unexpected tear-jerking scenes on family and friendships.

The ratings were not as high as “The Last Empress” or her other dramas, but the drama is definitely a gem and has gained its well-deserved recognition after it aired.
