Soo Min is on a mission to get island resident Lee Yi Kyung married in the upcoming drama, “Marry YOU.”
“Marry YOU” is a comedic family drama centered on matchmaking and the clash between marriage and singlehood. It follows Jeong H Na, a government employee who is firmly against marriage. To escape from the government’s marriage promotion team, she struggles to find a match for Bong Cheol-hee, a single man from a remote island.
The show’s humor is driven by its unique and fresh characters. Notably, there’s Bong Cheol Hee (played by Lee Yi Kyung), the mysterious chief of Cheongdo, living on the island with his twin nieces. Jeong Ha Na (played by Jo Soo Min) finds herself in an ironic situation where, despite her own anti-marriage stance, she must work on getting others married. The dynamic between these diverse characters keeps audiences engaged.
Adding to the charm are Bong Cheol Hee’s twin nieces, who have already made an impact through the show’s teasers. The twins, Bong Bada (played by Ahn Tae Rin) and Bong San Ee (played by Seo Woo Jin), have left a memorable impression with their vibrant presence, raising anticipation for the broadcast.
“From the very first shoot, Lee Yi Kyung, Ahn Tae Rin, and Seo Woo Jin amazed the crew with their incredible synergy. The Bong Cheol Hee family’s chemistry is a highlight of the show that viewers won’t want to miss. We hope for lots of interest and excitement from the audience.”
