KBS’s late-night music talk show “The Seasons” has confirmed that MZ generation representative musician Lee Young Ji will be the new host.
KBS announced that “The Seasons”, hosted by Lee Young Ji, will premiere on the 27th.
Lee Young Ji will be the youngest host in the history of “The Seasons”, bringing a different charm to the show compared to previous seasons.
As a representative of the MZ generation, Young Ji gained recognition through the hip-hop competition shows “High School Rapper 3” and “Show Me the Money 11”. Her recently released title track “Small Girl” from her album “16 Fantasy” has topped various music broadcasts and charts, receiving widespread love.
The fifth season, “Artist with Zico”, concluded its journey after five months.
In the final episode, Zico expressed his feelings, saying, “I want to share the love and support I received with those who work hard behind the scenes.”
“The Seasons” is the first KBS late-night music program to adopt a seasonal format. It started last February with “Jay Park’s Drive” and has featured various musicians as hosts, including Choi Jung Hoon in “Night Park”, AKMU in “Long Day Long Night”, “Red Carpet with Lee Hyo Ri”, and Zico in “Artist with Zico”, each showcasing their unique charms through diverse performances and stories.
Lee Young Ji’s “The Seasons: Rainbow of Lee Young Ji” will air on KBS 2TV on September 27th (Friday) at 10 PM KST.
