JTBC has released photos of the cast script reading of the upcoming weekend drama, “The Tale of Lady Ok”.
Lim Ji Yeon (as Ok Tae Young), Choo Yeong Woo (as Chon Seung Hwi), Kim Jae Won (as Seong Do Gyeom), and Yeonwoo (as Cha Mi Ryeong) are set to showcase a sensational storyline that will shake the entire Joseon region. The cast’s script reading, revealing hints of their dynamic chemistry, has heightened anticipation for the unique story of these characters, each harboring their own secrets.
Lim Ji Yeon, who plays Joseon’s multi-talented person Ok Tae Young, captures the complex and precarious life of a runaway servant who eventually becomes the fake Ok Tae Young. She vividly brought the character to life, effortlessly transitioning between the tenacious Goodeoki, a servant, and the clever, bold Ok Tae Young.
Choo Yeong Woo, who plays Chon Seung Hwi, the ultimate romanticist of Joseon, brought out the free-spirited nature of his character, a storyteller who travels across the country narrating tales. Though a popular entertainer throughout Joseon, in front of the fake Ok Tae Young, his eyes and tone softened, drawing everyone in with his passionate and heartfelt expressions.
Meanwhile, Kim Jae Won added warmth as Seong Do Gyeom, the highly admired young gentleman from a noble family. He transformed into a character with attraction showing a dependable and warm family bond with his sister-in-law Lim Ji Yeon, as well as sparking romantic excitement with Yeonwoo, who plays Cha Mi Ryeong, a character learning under Lim Ji Yeon and radiating her own unique charm and unpredictable allure.
