“The Law Cafe” Synopsis
This romantic comedy-drama starring Lee Seung Gi and Lee Se Young is based on the famous web novel “Love According to Law” by Noh Seung Ah, a love story about a former prosecutor-turned-building owner who was once considered a monster genius, and a former Miss Korea-turned-lawyer who opened a Law Cafe after quitting her job at a law firm.
Oh, and did you know this is Lee Seung Gi and Lee Se Young’s reunion drama after “Hwayugi”? This drama feels even more special now! Writer Lim Ji Eun (“2020 KBS Drama Special“) and director Lee Eun Jin (“My Lawyer, Mr.Joe,” “Feel Good to Die“) are the creators behind this drama!

Meet The Characters of “The Law Cafe“
Lee Seung Gi as Kim Jung Ho
The part of Kim Jung Ho has been cast for Lee Seung Gi. He is the former super genius prosecutor-turned-building owner and has known Kim Yu Ri for 17 years. He exudes charm and innocence and is currently the owner of a building that houses a law firm that also operates as a cafe.
Lee Se Young as Kim Yu Ri
Lee Se Young will portray Kim Yu Ri, a beautiful and eccentric lawyer. She used to hold the title of Miss Korea and is notorious for her ferocity and inability to tolerate injustice. She used to work at the prestigious Hwang & Gu Law Firm, but she abruptly left and now runs The Law Cafe on the ground floor of Kim Jung Ho’s building. One of her goals in life is to establish a cafe where she can give free, accessible legal advice to the general public.
Kim Seul Gi as Han Se Yeon
Officer Han Se Yeon, played by Kim Seul Gi, has been a friend of both Kim Jung Ho and Kim Yu Ri for the past 17 years. She is a free spirit who doesn’t hold back from saying what’s on her mind. She, like Yu Ri, has zero tolerance for unfair treatment.
Oh Dong Min as Do Jin Ki
Oh Dong Min will play Do Jin Ki, a restaurant chef and Han Se Yeon’s husband.
What To Look Forward from Lee Seung Gi and Lee Se Young in “The Law Cafe?”
