Last weekend was THE weekend for the “2 Days and 1 Night.”
Season 4, now with a new member Na In Woo, started the second story of “Training the new member” which unfolded last weekend. New member, Na In Woo, made the rest of the members nervous for two days with his cheeky energy.
It was like watching a fraternity ritual, where the members proposed that Na In Woo start a fire from scratch with a bet that if he can’t make fire, then he would have to jump into a super cold river.
And Na In Woo said, “That’s easy. I will do it for you brothers,” and happily accepted, surprising the other members with his audacity and even creating a situation where Ravi and Din Din had to go into the cold water with him due to their repeated failures, giving everyone a big laugh.
On this particular episode, the highest viewership ratings went up to about 28.3%, which was very unusual, scoring the highest of all the other variety shows on Sunday.
Na In Woo joined “2 Days and 1 Night” after Kim Seon Ho left the show, and he is definitely making his presence known with his charming personality.
He is a rising rookie star who gained popularity when he entered “River Where the Moon Rises” as the main male lead, again replacing an actor, Ji Soo, who was at that time embroiled in controversy due to his wrongdoings in high school.
Na In Woo also appeared as a special guest on “Radio Star,” episode 720, where he showed off a dorky personality that surprised everyone. And he talked about how he was abruptly put into “River Where the Moon Rises” and had to adlib almost 80% of the time due to the urgency of the situation.
