“KBS Drama Special 2022” released its teasers and will air its first episode on November 16! Fans of the KBS drama special series already have high expectations of what awaits. This year’s KBS Drama Special will have ten shows total: 8 short-formed K-Dramas and 2 movies, and its airing time is set to be every Wednesday and Thursday.
One of the released trailers begins with Bae Yoon Kyung’s monologue, “I thought I would be a great adult when I grew up.” Also starring Han Ji Eun, Cha Hak Yeon, Shin Eun Soo, Kim Min Chul, and Hong Seo Hee, that quote evokes the real truth behind the reality of life.
Then the storyline changes immediately to the next series, mainly starring Kang Seung Yoon. “Who knows if honesty will change the world?” In “The Season of Panties” (literal title), Kim Ki Hae and Kim Sae Byuk will join Kang Seung Yoon in stories full of tension and mystery, just like its title.
The trailer ends with scenes that provide a glimpse at the high-quality compilation of all the shows in this series that will really pique viewers’ interest. KBS Drama Special is celebrating its 38th anniversary this year, and each year they bring better stories to tell to the fans.
Unlike in the other years, two of the ten specials are actually movies that were also aired in movie theaters in Korea. The movies “Ghost” and “Distributors” (working titles) will air on December 21st and 22nd, respectively.
