Namkoong Min made a surprise appearance in the trailer of the ninth episode of “Taxi Driver 2,”, which was released on the 18th. Besides the special appearance, it was a moment when the worldview of popular dramas and over-the-top characters was heralded.
While new villains and victims related to medical accidents surrounding large hospitals were teased in the trailer, the main character Kim Do Ki (Lee Je Hoon) disguises himself as a doctor this time. Rainbow Squad is also in a dilemma for not being able to get the perfect evidence to prove the director of a large hospital is a villain.
When Namkoong Min appeared in front of Kim Do Ki as this familiar character, fans noticed it right away. It was pretty obvious this was Cheon Ji Hun (played by Namkoong Min) from “One Dollar Lawyer”!
Namkoong Min appeared in a colorful checkered suit wearing fancy sunglasses, which is the trademark of Cheon Ji Hun in “One Dollar Lawyer”. He definitely made an entrance by saying, “Can I borrow a coin?”.
The short trailer ended with Cheon Ji Hun, who suddenly appeared, and Kim Do Ki and Ji Hun made eye contact, which was impactful enough. Viewers’ reactions exploded to see what pleasant fun the meeting between the two would have.
This is not the first time the two have met. Lee Je Hoon initially made special appearances on Namkoong Min’s dramas first. Last year, he made a special appearance on “One Dollar Lawyer” and in 2019, he made another special appearance on the last episode of “Stove League”.
Lee Je Hoon, who said he was a fan of “Stove League ” at the time, immediately accepted the special guest request when Namkoong Min had requested.
Expectations are super high with this special crossover between Kim Do Ki from the current “Taxi Driver 2” and Cheon Ji Hun from “One Dollar Lawyer”.
“Taxi Driver 2,” where Lee Je Hoon and Namkoong Min meet, is scheduled to air on the 24th.
