“The Real Has Come!” Episodes 35 & 36 Recap:
- Yeon Doo and Tae Kyung meet again unexpectedly after a whole year when Yeon Doo had run away from everyone. Tae Kyung was so shocked to see Yeon Doo, but he was more shocked to see the baby in her hands. Tae Kyung gives her the cold shoulder because all this time he has waited for her to come back was truly painful for him. Tae Kyung asks her to leave, and as he wishes, she had to go visit her friend in the hospital. Later on, Yeon Doo realizes she left her baby’s diaper bag at his place, but she cannot dare go back there again. Tae Kyung left the baby’s bag at the front desk in case she would come and pick it up. But he saw that the bag was still at the front desk. Tae Kyung was a little annoyed that the bag was still there. So he calls her to give her bag back. Yeon Doo is currently in a very sticky situation because she needs someone to take care of the baby. Tae Kyung eavesdrops and offers help, and he ends up taking care of the baby.
- In Ok is worried that Tae Kyung has remained single all this time. She tries to put him on a blind date, but everything goes to waste since Tae Kyung has no intention whatsoever to meet someone new.
- Soo Kyum, Dong Wook, and Yu Myung visit a cafe to celebrate after Dong Wook receives an acceptance letter from a company he has interviewed with. Soo Kyum orders watermelon juice and compliments the owner of the cafe that it tastes so good. (the camera focuses on the owner of the cafe as if she is a new character that will soon be part of the drama)
- Tae Kyung takes care of Yeon Doo’s baby at his place. The baby seems to adjust to the new place fine until the baby throws up on Tae Kyung’s shoulder. He calls Hyun Woo for help since he has a little baby like Ha Neul.
- After a long day, Yeon Doo visits Tae Kyung’s place to pick up her baby. Right when she is about to leave, Tae Kyung stops her and confronts her about the hard time he had when she left him. They both cry but face reality. Yeon Doo packs her stuff, and when she is about to leave again, the doorbell rings, and Ms. Eun is at the door. Yeon Doo quickly hides herself in one of his rooms with her baby, trying to keep as quiet as possible. However, when the baby starts to cry, Ms. Eun searches for where the crying is coming from and ends up finding Yeon Doo.
- Ms. Eun was shocked to see Yeon Doo and the baby at Tae Kyung’s place in the beginning, but Ms. Eun really missed Yeon Doo too, so in a way, she was happy to see her. Ms. Eun asks Yeon Doo for her number, not as family, but as a once student and a teacher.
- Ms. Eun wants to do something for Yeon Doo, so she calls and asks her to send her the address she’s living so Ms. Eun can send food to Yeon Doo.
- Tae Kyung gets a strange call. The caller introduces herself as ‘Yeon Doo’s roommate’ and tells Tae Kyung that she’s only calling because he needs to know something about Yeon Doo. Tae Kyung abruptly ends the call by telling her he wants nothing to do with Yeon Doo anymore.
- Se Jin overheard that Soo Jung saw someone similar to Yeon Doo in a hospital she was visiting for work. Se Jin is not the person to let go of something like this, so she tries to look for any clues to find Yeon Doo. In the process, she finds Ms. Eun acting quite strange. When Se Jin asks Ms. Eun about it, she acts up, which makes her even more suspicious. Se Jin also finds out that Ms. Eun’s personal driver was going to a place she had never seen before. Se Jin assumes that this address has something to do with Yeon Doo, so she talks to her only accomplice, Jun Ha, about this, and he rushes to go find Yeon Doo.
- Meanwhile, Yeon Doo was at the market trying to buy food for dinner. When she was returning home, she saw this familiar face facing her apartment and yelling her name. Yeon Doo is shocked to the core to see Jun Ha in front of her house. Fortunately, she is saved by Tae Kyung, who was also there to meet with her. Tae Kyung takes her and the baby to his place for the night.

I just finished watching the 20th ep. I really like this drama. It’s a nice break from all the complicated kdramas that are popular nowadays. It’s relaxing and fun to watch. And I think, things are getting more interesting as of the 20th ep.
I do not find it boring since I understand that it is meant to be that way. People need to understand that it is not the typical 16 eps kdrama that are popular but it is common. From what I heard from my korean friends, these types of dramas are not meant for young people but middle aged audience who likes this concept of drama. And KBS is also known for making long-eps dramas like this.
So, even if it might not be for everyone, I REALLY enjoy watching this drama and wait eagerly every week for the episodes !!
