Here are the highlights of episodes 39 & 40 of “The Real Has Come!”

“The Real Has Come!” Episodes 39 & 40 Recap:

  • In Ok asks Yeon Doo to give away the baby to Jun Ha then she will approve of her dating Tae Kyung. Yeon Doo thinks this is absurd and runs away. Jun Ha calls Tae Kyung to mock him about how his mother and Yeon Doo came to him and try to hand him the baby. Tae Kyung is livid and confronts In Ok about it.
  • Ms. Eun and In Ok get into an argument due to the situation they are in. Ms. Eun decides to leave home until In Ok apologizes. Everyone was able to stop her from leaving, but Ms. Eun wrote a letter to the family saying not to look for her and has gone missing. But she has actually gone to Tae Kyung’s place.
  • Bong Nim was coldhearted towards Tae Kyung because he lied to her about the baby. But when Tae Kyung was expressing his true feelings about Yeon Doo to Dae Sang and how he will never give up on Yeon Doo and Ha Neul, Bong Nim slowly opens her heart.
  • As Ms. Eun spends nights at Yeon Doo and Tae Kyung’s place, she dreams about “strawberry,” a nickname she used to call her daughter she gave away for being a female-born baby. When Ha Neul cries, Ms. Eun springs up and goes to take care of Ha Neul. In a way, Ha Neul reminds Ms. Eun of her daughter.
  • Soo Jung and Hyun Woo visit Yeon Doo’s place to ask her if she knows Ms.Eun’s whereabouts. Ms. Eun quickly hides in the baby’s room but eventually gets caught.
  • Yu Myung was hurt by Dong Wook’s harsh comment, but he tried to make it up to her by taking her to a fancy restaurant and telling her how he truly feels for her. When they were driving home, Yu Myung asks Dong Wook if she can take a quick visit to the office to pick up something. While Dong Wook was waiting, he sees his first love, Song Yi, coming out of the 1st-floor cafe.
  • Everyone in the family but In Ok knows Ms.Eun is staying at Tae Kyung’s house. And today, it is Ha Neul’s birthday, so everyone gathers around to celebrate her birthday. When Ji Myung calls Hyun Woo, she hears Me. Eun’s voice is in the background and finds out that everyone is at Yeon Doo’s place. She gets furious and rushes to where they are with In Ok.
  • In Ok could not believe what she was seeing with her own eyes. Everyone seems to side with Yeon Doo but herself. She couldn’t bear the betrayal she was feeling and decided to leave the home.
  • Soo Kyum was ordering her favorite juice from the cafe she regularly visits, of course, she is not aware that the owner of the cafe is her biological mother. When Soo Kyum was waiting for Yu Myung, Dong Wook spots Soo Kyum with the owner (Song Yi), and he is astonished and takes Soo Kyum away. Then he goes back to Song Yi and tells her that he told Soo Kyum that her mother was dead, so she should act accordingly.
  • Yeon Doo goes to where In Ok is staying, trying to mend things with her. She cooks for her and asks for forgiveness, but she does not take it and throws away all the food Yeon Doo has prepared. Then, they were interrupted by unexpected guests. Ms. Eun and the rest of the family came to visit In Ok. Ms. Eun then cries and tells In Ok how sorry she is for treating her and Tae Kyung badly all these years. This has definitely moved her heart. She visits Yeon Doo and her family to give them an apology, and everyone seems to have released a huge weight off their shoulders.

Me. Eun gives a sincere apology to Tae Kyung.

Yeon Doo cannot be happier now that everyone accepted her and Ha Neul into the family.

Soo Kyum calls the owner of the cafe and asks for a favor.

Jun Ha did not back down and steals Ha Neul away.
