After someone with ill intentions tipped off the news about Eagle Brewery allegedly using stale rice for their makgeolli, Kwang Sook’s phone rings nonstop as her partners demand answers. She firmly denies the accusations, calling it a complete false report.

Meanwhile, after Se Ri confesses her true feelings toward Beom Soo, Mi Ae accelerates plans for Se Ri’s marriage to Han Gyul. Furious, Mi Ae accuses Se Ri of being gaslighted by Beom Soo. But when Se Ri reveals that her love is entirely one-sided and Beom Soo remains unaware of her feelings, Mi Ae collapses from the shock. Desperate to change Se Ri’s mind, Mi Ae pressures her even harder — but instead of giving in, Se Ri’s anger only grows stronger.

Heung Soo, traumatized after being ganged up on, isolates himself. Deeply concerned, Ok Boon visits him to make sure he’s okay.

Kwang Sook combs through surveillance footage, hoping to find proof that could clear her name. But as all her partners call to cut ties with Eagle Brewery, her fears mount. To make matters worse, reporters swarm the brewery for an interview. With unshakable confidence, Kwang Sook declares that she will prove her innocence — and if the allegations turn out to be true, she promises to shut down the business herself.
Se Ri, reluctantly, joins her parents for a dinner meeting with Dong Seok’s family to discuss her arranged marriage. Though hesitant, Se Ri has little choice. Mi Ae and Dok Go Tak eagerly shower Dong Seok’s family with praise, hoping to secure the marriage for their own gain.
As Eagle Brewery’s partners demand refunds, Kwang Sook faces financial ruin. Seeing her distress, Dong Seok steps in like a knight in shining armor, offering to cover the refunds on her behalf. Moved by his selflessness, Kwang Sook vows to repay his kindness no matter what.

Kwang Sook’s family and friends also step up to help. In the process, they uncover evidence that someone had tampered with the rice supply to frame Eagle Brewery. Meanwhile, Dok Go Tak watches Eagle Brewery’s downfall with glee, plotting to swoop in and buy the business — but Kwang Sook is determined to never let that happen.
After spending the night reflecting, Se Ri makes a life-changing decision. She calls off the wedding, admitting she has fallen for Beom Soo. Mi Ae, enraged, immediately shuts her down. She warns Se Ri that rejecting Han Gyul would ruin her future and insists she must marry him if she doesn’t want to live a life of misery.
Meanwhile, Heung Soo’s trauma causes him to lose his job at the community center. Hoping to lift his spirits, Ok Boon gives him a heartfelt makeover.

As Dong Seok spends more time with Kwang Sook, he finds himself falling for her, despite the deep loyalty he once held for his late wife.
Se Ri meets Beom Soo and boldly confesses her love. Stunned and confused, Beom Soo tries to walk away, but Se Ri pleads with him to take her feelings seriously, because she’s never been more certain.

Desperate to uncover the truth, Mi Ae approaches an Eagle Brewery employee and finally learns that the news report was false. In a shocking confession, she shares her long-held secret: years ago, she left her baby at Eagle Brewery, believing he would have a better life among the warm-hearted brothers who ran it. She later returned as a secretary to stay close to her son, raising him from the shadows. That child turns out to be none other than Gang Soo.
Meanwhile, Heung Soo realizes that Ok Boon had been by his side even during his idol days, and slowly, new feelings begin to blossom between them.
The spy, whom Dok Go Tak had planted to sabotage Eagle Brewery, gets arrested. Furious, Go Tak orders his secretary to take the fall. Dong Seok rushes to share the good news with Kwang Sook.

Heung Soo starts to take Ok Boon seriously, contemplating a real relationship with her.
Se Ri officially calls off her engagement to Han Gyul in pursuit of her love for Beom Soo.
