Everything That Happened in “Recipe For Love” Episodes 45 and 46

Ki Chul and the police devise a plan to lure Mi Hyang into exposing herself. Pretending he has lost his memories, Ki Chul meets with her and convinces her that he still trusts her. Believing his act, Mi Hyang suggests they flee the country together. As the police secretly listen through a hidden microphone, Ki Chul carefully leads the conversation, prompting Mi Hyang to reveal the truth behind her crimes. The moment she lets her guard down, the police rush in and finally arrest her.

Meanwhile, Ju Ah and Hyun Bin continue working on their latest fashion project. Although their growing feelings for each other occasionally cloud their judgment, both try their best to keep things professional and avoid crossing the line.

With Mi Hyang now in custody for hiding the death of her own brother and imprisoning Ki Chul, Sun Hae struggles to process everything she has learned. She can’t shake the memories of Mi Hyang’s frequent visits to the pharmacy, believing they were acts of genuine friendship. In reality, Mi Hyang had only been keeping tabs on whether Sun Hae was searching for Ki Chul. When Sun Hae visits her at the police station, she surprises Mi Hyang with pity instead of hatred. Wanting to hurt her one last time, Mi Hyang spitefully confesses that she was the one who spread the false rumor that Ki Chul had run away with another woman, leaving Sun Hae and her family to believe the lie for over 30 years. The revelation leaves Sun Hae devastated and speechless.

Hyun Bin’s seemingly separate fashion project turns out to be part of a much bigger plan. After Tae An unexpectedly shuts down its fashion division, leaving the entire team unemployed, Hyun Bin and Ju Ah secretly build a new brand from the ground up, earning both funding and public recognition. Behind the scenes, Jun Hyeok, whom everyone believed had betrayed them, has actually been working undercover to secure shareholder support. Thanks to his efforts, Hyun Bin successfully proposes the new brand as an independent subsidiary of Tae An. Their gamble pays off, allowing both Hyun Bin and Ju Ah to return to the company with an entirely new brand of their own.
As everything begins falling into place, Sun Chool receives devastating news. A hospital checkup reveals that he has advanced cancer and needs immediate treatment. Realizing his time may be limited, he rushes to settle his family’s future, especially Hyun Bin’s marriage. He pressures Se Ri to find Hyun Bin a suitable wife as quickly as possible, unaware that Hyun Bin has already fallen deeply in love with Ju Ah. Unable to suppress his feelings any longer, Hyun Bin finally asks Ju Ah if they can stop denying what they feel. Ju Ah finally admits that she feels the same.

Hyun Bin is determined not to lose Ju Ah again. This time, he boldly visits her home to ask for her family’s blessing, determined to make their relationship official.
At the same time, Sun Chool’s condition rapidly worsens, and he suddenly collapses on the street. Ju Ah rushes him to the hospital, where Hyun Bin finally asks his father for permission to be with her. Knowing his father’s greatest wish is to see him happily married, Hyun Bin hopes it’s not too late for his family to accept the woman he truly loves.
