Here are the highlights of what happened on episodes 5 & 6 of “The Real Has Come!”

“The Real Has Come!” Episodes 5 & 6 Recap:

• Bong Nim is in disbelief when she hears that her daughter, Yeon Doo, is pregnant. She had to deal with Yeon Doo’s brother’s mess when he came home with a baby when he was only 18 years old. But now that Bong Nim’s oldest daughter is pregnant, and is claiming to have this baby by herself, Bong Nim loses it. She kicks out Yeon Doo because she is so angry

• Tae Kyung reluctantly proposes to Se Jin due to his remaining family treating his mother so poorly. Tae Kyung figures that marrying Se Jin will settle all this down, so he does so even though he is a person who is totally against marriage. Tae Kyung even tells this to his mother, but she is furious because she knows that Tae Kyung is not genuine about this marriage at all. She tells him not to worry and that she will file a divorce so Ms. Eun will no longer torture Tae Kyung nor herself. But Tae Kyung knows that this is not something his mother wants. She’s only filing for divorce for the sake of Tae Kyung. So, he does not back down either. He tells her that he does not want to marry Se Jin, but he needs to marry her.

• In Ok isn’t the only one against this marriage. Se Jin’s father, Jang Ho, is not happy about this marriage either. He knows that Se Jin is desperate to marry Tae Kyung to be included in a rich family. He also knows that Se Jin lied to Tae Kyung about being infertile just to have this marriage get going.

• Both Se Jin and Tae Kyung’s families have a family gathering for the big wedding event. Ms. Eun has even gifted Se Jin’s family with a small apartment as she welcomes them into her family. When In Ok arrives late at this gathering, she doesn’t care about anybody else and asks very straightforwardly to Se Jin what’s up her sleeve for trying to marry Tae Kyung. Se Jin begs Tae Kyung to stop acting up and stop what he is doing for her.

• Yeon Doo’s mother searches everywhere in Yeon Doo’s room to find the jerk who left her alone when she’s pregnant. Bong Nim has finally found a piece of paper that seems to be the address of where he is, “Calucia Hotel. Room 2111.” In Ok rushes to the hotel and knocks on room 2111, looking for this prick. No one answers the door, but Tae Kyung, who got an emergency call from Yeon Doo asking him for help, rushes to aroom 2111 and has Bong Nim stay away from Jun Ha. When Bong Nim finally leaves, Jun Ha opens the door, asking what this noise is about. Tae Kyung, who already knows who Jun Ha is (Yeon Doo’s ex), stares at him with contempt. Yeon Doo later arrives but sees Tae Kyung collapsed on the floor due to his poor health. She brings him back to his hotel room and takes care of him. Yeon Doo accidentally falls asleep on a sofa next to his bed, and the next morning, Se Jin has entered the room and sees a female’s jacket and purse. Yeon Doo also left a note to Tae Kyung saying, “thanks for helping me out yesterday.”

• Se Jin then hears something in the bathroom and asks who she is. Yeon Doo gasps, but Tae Kyung wakes up. Se Jin acts like she was there the whole time taking care of sick Tae Kyung. Yeon Doo slowly opens the bathroom door and sees Se Jin really close to Tae Kyung. Se Jin quickly changes the subject so she can persuade him to leave the room without spotting Yeon Doo, she takes him to the nearest hospital.

• Tae Kyung was supposed to meet Se Jin for lunch, but when he was cleaning the room and getting ready to go out, he found a button on the floor that seemed to be from a woman’s clothing. He mistakes this button to be Se Jin’s (while it was Yeon Doo’s) and goes to the clothing store to find a new jacket that has this button. Coincidentally, Yeon Doo was in the same store too because she lost one of the buttons on her jacket, so she went to get her jacket fixed. They encounter each other and Tae Kyung treats Yeon Doo to lunch after finding out that it was her the whole time next to Tae Kyung taking care of him.

• After having lunch, Yeon Doo asks Tae Kyung to excuse her from the bathroom. When she was going to the bathroom, she saw Se Jin talking on the phone with her mom, and she yelled, “I lied to Tae Kyung and said that I am infertile so we can arrange the wedding. But once we get married, we are going to have babies so I can keep him close to me.” Yeon Doo is shocked to hear this comment, but little did she know, Tae Kyung was right behind her, listening to what Se Jin was saying on the phone all along.

• Yeon Doo, who is homeless now, tries her best to find a job for herself. However, during her interviews, she is turned down by everyone because she is pregnant. It was only in the last interview of the day that she found a school that was willing to take her in. Coincidently, this was a school Bong Nim was attending, a school for elders. Bong Nim and Yeon Doo encounter each other and Bong Nim drags Yeon Doo to the hospital for an abortion. Yeon Doo refuses and tells Bong Nim that she cannot get rid of the baby. She was pregnant with twins but miscarried one of them. Yeon Doo begs Bong Nim that she cannot get rid of the remaining baby that miraculously lived. They both ball, their faces running with tears.

• Tae Kyung called off the wedding with Se Jin after finding out the motives behind Se Jin wanting to marry Tae Kyung.

• Yeon Doo was at the gynecologist to consult with Tae Kyung, but when she was doing so, Jun Ha bursts in and asks Yeon Doo if she’s pregnant and who is the father of the baby. Jun Ha was threatening her to erase the baby, but Tae Kyung steps in and tells Jun Ha that the baby is his. Bong Nim hears this and now thinks that the baby is Tae Kyung’s!! (WWWWWWWHHHHHHAAAAAAAAT!!!!!!!!!!)

Bong Nim visits Ms. Eun’s house to ask them to be responsible for Yeon Doo’s baby.

Se Jin warns Tae Kyung not to ruin the plan she had all this time.

Tae Kyung asks Yeon Doo to marry him.
