“Three Bold Siblings” Episode 19 & 20 Recap and Trailer Breakdown

Last week’s episodes had a big revelation about Sang Jun’s past! (Does he really have a son he does not know about?!)

Let’s highlight the key recap points from episodes 19 and 20 of “Three Bold Siblings”.

“Three Bold Siblings” Episodes 19 & 20 Recap:

• Sang Jun shares the great news to Young Sik that he and Tae Ju are now officially registered as a married couple. Sang Jun tells him he will be the only person that knows about this news and doesn’t want anyone else to know as of now. However, Young Sik does not seem as excited as Sang Jun expected. Young Sik reluctantly congratulates Sang Jun, and when Sang Jun leaves the room, he murmurs, “That is not the only secret.”

• Hyun Jung cannot get over the fact that she kissed Gun Woo. While she is beating herself with the thought, Gun Woo visits her café. At the same time, her friend Moo Young visits to pick up his sandwiches to-go. Moo Young overhears the cringe comments Gun Woo is throwing at Hyun Jung, and Hyun Jung acts like she doesn’t know what Gun Woo is talking about. When Gun Woo finally leaves, Moo Young confronts Hyun Jung about the relationship between her and Gun Woo, but she denies it.

• Tae Ju continues to work really hard at Sang Jun’s place to get approval from the rest of the family. While doing so, Tae Ju catches Sang Min stealing her brother’s expensive clothing and selling them online for her own benefit. To keep this a secret, Tae Ju asks Sang Min to cooperate with the house chores she has piled up.

• Sang Jun gets a phone call from Tae Ju’s grandmother. She is calling him to see if he can take her and her friends on a tour of the broadcaster building. In the split of a second, Sang Jun thought of the perfect idea to have a blind date for both Tae Ju’s and Sang Jun’s grandmother. He thought it would be great to secretly bring his grandmother along when he gives a tour to Tae Ju’s grandmother so that they can meet and introduce each other naturally. (But we already know that both of them have already met through a drum class, and they hate each other!! lol)

• Young Sik eavesdrops on Ji Woo and Soo Bin’s conversation about who the DNA test results belong to. Soo Bin tells Ji Woo that he once saw dad burning a piece of paper with DNA results on it, and he believes that that paper belongs to him. But Ji Woo cuts him off and tells Soo Bin that it might be his, and he has always felt as if he wasn’t the biological son of Young Sik since high school. Soo Bin then thinks that Sang Jun might be the father of Ji Woo since they look very alike. To investigate further aboutthis birth secret, they both go to Sang Jun for the truth. Sang Jun laughs it off because he knows this is just absurd. Soo Bin and Ji Woo continue asking Sang Jun for the truth, and Sang Jun tells them Young Sik has once taken a DNA test for Soo Bin and himself because he was so angry at his wife, but accidentally, he took his wife Eun Joo’s toothbrush instead of Soo Bin’s, which obviously resulted in a ‘no match’ DNA result.

• In the next scene, we have Se Ran and Young Sik seriously discussing the conversation between his sons, Soo Bing and Ji Woo. Se Ran repeatedly emphasizes that no one can find out about the secret. Then we see a flashback where Se Ran asks Young Sik a favor, and has this newborn baby as his! She asks, “Sang Jun has done so much for our family, and this mistake cannot ruin his thriving career. Please, I ask you to take care of Ji Woo for Sang Jun. And let’s take this secret to the grave.” Then Young Sik talks about the letters that were sent to them asking for money to keep the secret about Ji Woo. (it’s probably the biological mother who is sending these letters..)

• Se Ran was really moved by how hard Tae Ju tried to win favor with Sang Jun’s family. So, to make amends with Tae Ju’s family, Se Ran buys a cake and brings it to Heang Bok and Jung Soo. In return, Haeng Bok offers Se Ran to go eat something nice with Jung Sook at a hotel and enjoy the time together.

• While Jung Sook was enjoying the sauna at a hotel, Se Ran went to the hotel lounge for a cup of coffee. There, she meets her old friend named Tommy. When Jung Sook finishes her sauna, she walks to the lounge to meet with Se Ran. However, Se Ran was no longer there. She left with her friend Tommy to his room. Out of curiosity, Jung Sook follows them in shock. She is worried that a player like him might potentially be Tae Ju’s future stepfather-in-law! Jung Sook blatantly asks who that riffraff of a man is, and Se Ran is offended by the comment. They end up getting into a fight in the luxurious hotel. But this all started because of Jung Sook’s misunderstanding of Se Ran. Se Ran has really refrained from getting in any promiscuous rumors about being the mother of a superstar. Se Ran sobs and confides in Jung Sook about how lonely she was all this time and hates being misunderstood like that. To make Se Ran feel better, Jung Sook offers to sing. When Jung Sook was preparing a mini performance, Se Ran left without a trace, leaving Jung Sook disappointed.

• Meanwhile, Sang Jun brings a rack of wedding dresses for Tae Ju to try on for their wedding in the future. Haeng Bok tears up after seeing his daughter in a wedding dress. So Rim sees this in disbelief. She disapproved of this wedding from the beginning. Sang Jun asks her to accept this fact, but she firmly refuses to do so.

• Nam Soo hands So Rim gift certificates and swayed her into quitting the job. Nam Soo feels uncomfortable seeing his work from time to time. So Rim gives back the gift certificates and tells him she likes someone in the company, and she has no intention whatsoever of quitting.

• While Sang Jun was filming his recent drama, the news about him getting married leaked. A lot of press came to visit his agency for the truth. Sang Jun shamelessly confesses that he and the woman he loves are preparing for a wedding in the near future. Jung Sook is shocked that Tae Ju did not tell her about this from the beginning.

• Now that Sang Jun is really going forward with this wedding, Se Ran is a bit worried that their secrets might come out soon. If the woman that claims to be Ji Woo’s biological mother makes any revelation, this will cause chaos. So, Se Ran and Young Sik plan to send Ji Woo abroad to study, but he strongly refuses. When he leaves the house, there is a strange woman in a hood and a rose tattoo on her wrist, watching over Ji Woo.

• Tae Ju gets a strange letter from a stranger that says, “Lee Sang Jun has a son, and I am his mother.”
