“Three Bold Siblings” Episode 3 & 4 Recap and Trailer Breakdown

*SPOILERS AHEAD* WOW! There are so many characters that I am not yet so familiar with. I gotta memorize all these names soon!

Let’s highlight the key recap points from episodes 3 and 4 of “Three Bold Siblings”.

“Three Bold Siblings” Episodes 3 & 4 Recap:

• Tae Ju saves Sang Jun from a creepy fan. Tae Ju reminisces on the old days when they were together and how difficult it was for them to do any type of normal dating. Fans and paparazzi were always all over them trying to catch anything that would go viral online. One time, when they were at a hotel trying to have normal, quality time together, a strange phone call interrupted them. A local press knew about their whereabouts and called to threaten the couple. Again, Tae Ju and Sang Jun had to rush out to avoid the press. Sang Jun came to Tae Ju’s stepfather crying and heartbroken to tell him that it was just not going to work out because it was just impossible for these lovebirds to continue their relationship. And until today, Tae Ju had to live with fear and the tagline as “Sang Jun’s girlfriend,” which really affected her love relationship.

• Tae Ju furiously asks Sang Jun what the heck was going through his mind publishing a book about their past memories. She slaps him in the face and tells him how her whole life is ruined due to their relationship, and she was just in disbelief that, to Sang Jun, it remains as good memories. Sang Jun genuinely asks her if there is any way he can compensate her. She leaves but without her cell phone which happened to be in Sang Jun’s car. Tae Ju’s youngest brother calls Tae Ju’s phone and Sang Jun picks up. Sang Jun and Gun Woo meet up and talk about their childhood memories. Sang Jun asks Gun Woo for Tae Ju’s phone number, but Gun Woo takes this as an opportunity to grow his hospital. Gun Woo wants Sang Jun to take a photo at his hospital in return for giving him her sister’s phone number. Sang Jun, a super star, visits Gun Woo’s hospital, and all the patients go crazy!

• Sang Jun is working out at a gym with his personal trainer, and this woman approaches him as his fan. The trainer tells Sang Jun that she is his girlfriend, and they all take a photo together. (However, this woman seems so familiar… I thought she was Gun Woo’s girlfriend, no?)

• Tae Ju’s younger sister So Rim and Sang Jun’s younger sister Sang Min have been enemies since high school. They had hatred toward each other when their elders started dating. They ran into each other at a grocery store, and no one had anything nice to say about each other.

• Tae Ju burst into her stepfather’s curry restaurant to tell her parents that from now on, she wants nothing to do with her step-grandmother, who discriminated against her her whole life. Tae Ju firmly says, on special occasions like Chuseok or Sul Nal, she does not want to see her grandmother. Plus, she drops a bombshell about her quitting as a doctor. Her parents are shocked. Then a young male bursts into the restaurant, asking if he can work as a part-time employee.

• Cho Nam Soo, who is So Rim’s boyfriend (So Rim is the second sister of Tae Ju), was on the bus headed to the headquarters of his company for the very first time. However, his sensitive digestive system went wrong and rushed to the bathroom. In the afternoon he gets a call from his boss, asking him to pick up the CEO’s daughter from the airport. There, he meets Ji Hye for the first time.

• Sang Jun waits for Tae Ju in front of Tae Ju’s father’s restaurant until midnight. Tae Ju rushes to see if Sang Jun really came or not and he was really there. Tae Ju still holds a grudge against him so she is a little standoffish towards Sang Jun, and Sang Jun is just so happy that they can talk together. Sang Jun seems like he still has feelings towards her. Tae Ju’s parents had a late night stroll and revisited the restaurant to see if the air conditioning was turned off, and they spotted Sang Jun unzipping Tae Ju’s jacket!! Sang Jun was only trying to help her take her wet jacket off since she was sneezing, but her parents thought otherwise and grabbed Sang Jun by the head!

• Coincidently, Sang Jun gets casted for the story Tae Ju wrote and is currently waiting to be aired. Sang Jun meets with the producer for an interview, and there he spots Tae Ju again! Tae Ju and her co-writer are shocked to see Sang Jun.

• Ji Hye visits a cafe where she sees a Pilates pamphlet. She calls to seek more information, but little does she know, the person she was calling is So Rim, who is Nam Soo’s girlfriend. (Nam Soo went to pick up Ji Hye from the airport) Ji Hye was actually waiting for Nam Soo at a cafe, she wanted to treat him to a nice dinner since he helped with transportation before. They go out to a very fancy omakase sushi and have a really good time.

• Tae Ju’s grandmother and Sang Jun’s grandmother are also rivals. It seems like no one in each family has any positive feelings toward each other.

• Sang Jun visits Gun Woo’s hospital to get a check up, and there he meets Gun Woo’s girlfriend. Sang Jun thought he had seen her somewhere and remembers that she was his personal trainer’s girlfriend too! Sang Jun confesses this to Gun Woo, leaving Gun Woo in shock. Gun Woo gives his girlfriend an ultimatum and tells her to break up with her other boyfriend by the end of this month. However, it doesn’t seem like she wants to…

• Sang Jun’s mother Se Ran has a deep concern these days because Sang Jun isn’t the superstar he was in the past. She talks with Sang Jun’s manager and pushes him to persuade Sang Jun to star in a dating show.

• Tae Ju summons Sang Jun after her grandmother harshly bashed her about how shameful she was when Tae Ju was dating Sang Jun. Out of anger, Tae Ju decides to go on a dating show Sang Jun once proposed to her. This program was about finding Sang Jun’s first love and repairing their past broken relationship. Tae Ju thought this was ludicrous, but after how harshly her grandmother treated her, she decided to go on this show with Sang Jun! But on the premise that this was all just acting.

The Episode 5 Trailer Breakdown of “Three Bold Siblings” on KOCOWA!

Sang Jun and Tae Ju star on the new dating variety show.

The director, Cha Yoon Ho, introduces the staff to his guest house, where the fun variety show will be filmed.

Sang Jun is not so happy and is jealous of how Yoon Ho and Tae Ju seem to be close.

Tae Ju scolds So Rim about how she is too head over heels for Nam Soo. So Rim responded, it is because you have never been in a legitimate relationship before.

However, now that Tae Ju and Sang Jun are working together on an upcoming program, Tae Ju starts to grow feelings toward Sang Jun.

What did you guys think of the last four episodes so far? Other than having so many coincidental moments that kind of lost me a little bit, the overall storyline seems fun.
