“Three Bold Siblings” Episode 38 & 39 Recap and Trailer Breakdown

Is this all out of misunderstanding or from someone’s ulterior motive?!?

Let’s highlight the key recap points from episodes 38 & 39 of “Three Bold Siblings”.

“Three Bold Siblings” Episodes 38 & 39 Recap:

• Sang Jun gets a call from Jang Mi and hears shocking news. She tells him that Sang Jun has been lying this whole time, Ji Woo is not his biological son, and Young Sik is lying to everyone. Jang Mi reveals everything she knows due to Young Sik reporting Jang Mi’s whereabouts with illegal gamblers.

• Ji Woo went to work, but when Jung Sook saw him she yelled at him to leave immediately, knowing he is the hidden son of Sang Jun’s. Ji Woo tells Haeng Bok that he won’t be coming to work for some time. Haeng Bok encourages him and tells him to come over anytime whenever he wants to eat curry with a warm hug.

• Nam Soo and Ji Hye break up, and Nam Soo blames this all on So Rim.

• Ji Woo found a pdf and photoshop files of the DNA results in Young Sik’s computer. He finds this strange because there is no need for him to have a pdf file of a paternity test result unless there is something to manually edit.

• Sang Jun and his manager go to take the DNA tests themselves one last time. They’ve been to two different labs, and it turns out that both results state that Sang Jun and Ji Woo are not related by DNA. Sang Jun is shocked, and so is his manager. Sang Jun now needs to figure out what Young Sik’s motive is behind all this. Sang Jun takes the results and confronts Young Sik about it. However, Young Sik plays dumb and deflects everything Sang Jun says to him.

• Sang Jun heads to Tae Ju’s home with the results and confidently tells everyone that Ji Woo is not his son.

• Nam Soo resigns with an ulterior motive. Mu Young doesn’t know that Nam Soo and Ji Hye went and met Ji Hye’s biological mother. Mu Young, who was about to officially introduce himself to So Rim’s father, gets a call while So Rim hears everything through the car’s Bluetooth. This woman calls Mu Young her husband, who happens to be Ji Hye’s biological mother. Nam Soo evilly smiles behind this woman and Ji Hye.

• So Rim asks Mu Young if he has been frequently in contact with her since she just calls him husband so naturally. Mu Young denies it and reassures him to not mind her presence. Then they both go meet with Haeng Bok, and Mu Young properly introduces himself and asks him for his blessings.

• Se Ran confronts Young Sik about the situation that is going on right now with Sang Jun. Se Ran heard that Ji Woo and Soo Bin saw Young Sik burning a ‘not a match’ report. Then who really is Ji Woo’s father? Eun Joo starts to question it, too, and tries to find out herself who Ji Woo’s real father is.

• Ji Hye’s biological mother visits Hyun Jung’s cafe and asks Hyun Jung for a big favor, to help her get back together with Mu Yeong. Hyun Jung coldly says no and that Mu Yeong has already found someone that he dearly loves, but Ji Hye’s mother sneers at her and tells her she will soon win back Mu Yeong’s heart.

• Hyun Jung moves in with Gun Woo and his family. They both cannot be happier.

• After Ji Woo found a strange pdf file on Young Sik’s computer, he confronts him and asks why he fabricated the test result to deceive everyone that Ji Woo is Sang Jun’s son. Then we see Young Sik’s upbringing in his flashback. Young Sik had a hard life where his father constantly beat him, and his mother just overlooked the situation. Young Sik’s father dies in a car accident, and to make the situation worse, his mother abandons him. Then Se Ran takes care of Young Sik, but he, later on, finds out that there were other reasons why she took such good care of him; because she took all her father’s insurance money to cover her expenses for raising Sang Jun and Sang Min, and pays off all the debt she had. Young Sik had to work several jobs to pay his college tuition fee, and even when he asked Se Ran for help, she refused, saying she had no money. But when Young Sik sees her supporting Sang Jun, Young Sik becomes vindictive. However, there was a misunderstanding about this situation. Se Ran fully supported Sang Jun so that he could become rich fast enough to support Young Sik, and she truly believed this was the fastest way possible since Sang Jun was already a rising rookie at this point.

• All three siblings meet up with each other with each other’s significant others. It’s truly a triple date! And after the gathering, Mu Young proposes to So Rim with a diamond ring!! So Rim is so touched, and she asks him to get married! Then there come the intruders, Ji Hye and her mother burst in without knowing what’s going on. Ji Hye’s mother is poised and tells Mu Yeong that she misses him.

Hyun Jung’s mother brings many side dishes to Gun Woo’s home and tells Hyun Jung that she will bring all the side dishes she wants.

Ji Hye asks Hyun Jung if she knows anything about her mother’s illness.

Mu Yeong coldly tells Ji Hye’s mother to leave, and So Rim can’t get a hold of Mu Yeong.

Sang Jun asks Young Sik if he can mention him when he reports Sang Jun to the police.

Ji Woo asks Sang Jun why he is raised in this house even when Sang Jun is not his biological father.

Ji Woo runs away from home.
