This episode was mellow relative to the previous ones where I was taken by surprise every minute of the show. The major focal point on this episode was about Dan Dan finally leaving Young Guk’s place and Yeon Sil finding out the truth behind Ana Kim.
- Yeon Sil Catches Them
Yeon Sil catches Soo Chul and Ana Kim having a discreet conversation, and for a second, she misunderstands this relationship as an affair. Soo Chul doesn’t fess up entirely on who Ana Kim really is but tells Yeon Sil that they’ve met due to sending Dan Dan to the States.
- Young Guk Tells the Kids
Young Guk tells Se Chan and Se Jong that he ended the relationship with Dan Dan, and she is no longer going to teach them. Also, Dan Dan will be moving to the States, and the kids don’t take this nicely. The kids are devastated and cry in a puddle of tears.
- Everyone Roots for Dan Dan
Everyone but the kids are rooting for Dan Dan and Dae Ran, and are even wishing for her to have the “American Dream.” However, the kids come up with a plan to take Dan Dan on one last, goodbye trip. There, they all make wishes to each other.
- Yeon Sil Cannot Take it Any More
Yeon Sil visits Ana Kim’s place and confronts her about what is going on with Soo Chul. She gets furious and turns Ana Kim’s place upside down! Yeon Sil starts to become suspicious of everything Soo Chul does, and as a result, she even follows him. Eventually, Yeon Sil finds out that Ana Kim is the biological mother of Dan Dan.
- Se Jong Gets Really Sick
After Dan Dan left the place, Se Jong was really struggling. He was diagnosed with separation anxiety, and the doctor suggested that whoever is causing this should take care of Se Jong. Se Jong did not sleep or eat after Dan Dan left…
- The Rest of the Family Finds Out
The rest of the family finds out about Ana Kim’s true identity as Dan Dan’s biological mother. They all refuse to send Dan Dan away to the States, afraid that Dan Dan might find out about who Ana Kim really is. The family all becomes allies to keep this secret from Dan Dan.

Another cliffhanger, again! The episode ended with Young Guk calling Dan Dan for help very late at night! He asked her to come over for the very last time and see Se Jong, who is struggling after separating abruptly from Dan Dan. What will happen next? Let’s deep dive on the next episode’s trailer.
Young Guk visits Dan Dan’s place to pick her up, and Soo Chul gets furious.
Se Jong takes Se Ryeon to play this game that he used to play with Dan Dan. Coincidentally, Se Ryeon ran into Dae Bum, and they all had lunch together.
Ana Kim asks Dan Dan for a favor to get her a usb drive for the fashion show, which is where Dan Dan finds pictures of herself when she was a baby. (OMG!! This will be the big one for next episode!!)
Se Ryeon finds out that Sa Ra is the designated florist of Young Guk’s house and asks her to leave.
Young Guk was skeptical, but now finds out that Ana Kim really is the biological mother of Dan Dan.
Dan Dan finds out that her biological mother is Ana Kim! (just a few days before leaving for the States!! I have a feeling she is going to decide not to go and will get back with Young Guk…)
