They plan to house residents from various backgrounds for a year and create a self-sufficient community to showcase a positive image of reunification internationally. However, a major incident occurs right from the beginning! Renowned South Korean pianist Joo Hyeong and the daughter of a high-ranking North Korean official, Na Kyung, are mistakenly assigned to live together due to a selection system error. Despite this, they agree to live together for a year for the greater cause of reunification. Joo Hyeong, who has lived in luxury, finds Na Kyung’s humble lifestyle somewhat distasteful at first, but as they say, love is hardest to resist when it’s unexpected. Although they sense their growing affection for each other, they struggle to confess their feelings as they approach the inevitable separation after a year. Just when things are getting complicated, Na Kyung’s father, a senior North Korean officer, unexpectedly visits the Peace Village with a stern warning: “Nothing should disrupt the Peace Village!” United by a common goal of genuine peace and love, the tightly-knit neighbors strive to overcome their challenges.
