In Part 2 of “My Dearest,” the fate of actors Namkoong Min and Ahn Eun Jin takes a dramatic turn.
The Release of the Episode 11 Preview
On the 12th, MBC released a preview for episode 11 of the Friday-Saturday drama “My Dearest.” The preview begins with scenes of Lee Jang Hyun (played by Namkoong Min) and Yoo Gil Chae (played by Ahn Eun Jin) thinking of each other in different places. Jang Hyun’s words, “This time, I’ve lost you forever,” hint at the regrets he holds about parting ways with Gil Chae in the past. Through Jang Hyun’s portrayal of suffering alone, it’s evident that he still carries deep affection for Gil Chae, even after their separation.
However, Jang Hyun isn’t the only one in agony. Gil Chae, who had remained in Hanyang, suddenly gets abducted by someone. Although she cries out, “I’ve never been a prisoner. Let me go immediately,” her pleas fall on deaf ears. As Gil Chae faces the possibility of becoming a hostage, her ordeal unfolds. This is when we see Jang Hyun transform into a relentless pursuer of captors. A new character, Gakhwa (played by Lee Chung Ah), briefly appears, adding to the tension.
The preview then hints at the poignant fate of Jang Hyun and Gil Chae. Gil Chae, with vacant, lifeless eyes, utters, “Help me,” as she’s led away. Jang Hyun, seemingly blaming someone for their predicament, cries out in desperation but also declares, “I must cross this river today.” The preview generates curiosity about what will happen to these two individuals and how they will reunite in this dire situation.
Additionally, episodes 11 and 12 of “Lovers” Part 2 will be extended to 90 minutes. Episodes 11 and 12 will air on Friday, October 13, and Saturday, October 14, respectively, at 9:40 PM KST.
