Seeing the actors and actresses we love from our favorite K-Dramas hanging out together and being friends after the drama has ended is a joy for every K-Drama fan. It’s really great seeing that they’re still in touch, supporting, and sending each other gifts!

It really means they built a great friendship and bond while filming the drama. Now, I’m sharing some of my K-Drama reunions that happened this year!

“Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth” Squad

The historical fantasy romance drama “Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth,” which stars Park Seo Jun and Go A Ra, has built one of the most iconic friendship squads ever. I know a lot are familiar with the infamous “Wooga squad!” which is made up of Park Seo Jun, Park Hyung Sik, BTS V (who all starred in “Hwarang”), Choi Woo Shik, and Peakboy.

In addition to bringing each other food trucks and having BTS V sing the OST for Choi Woo Shik’s drama, the Wooga squad is frequently seen showing their support for each other’s individual projects. Recently, we saw the group in a variety show, and I really loved seeing their dynamics!

Sejeong, In Ah and Dong Yoon of “School 2017

The coming-of-age high school series, which stars Kim Se Jeong, has a lot of reunions for this year! Kim Se Jeong and Seol In Ah worked together again in the romantic comedy “Business Proposal” as best friends, and they even became close in real life!

After both appearing as second leads in “School 2017,” Jang Dong Yoon and Seol In Ah are now meeting again in a drama where they are now the main leads. At a music award show they both presented at, the two had a very cute interaction.

Love in the Moonlight” Squad

Another K-Drama squad reunion that made my heart so happy is the “Love in the Moonlight” squad! Seeing Park Bo Gum, Kim Yoo Jung, Jung Jinyoung, Chae Soo Bin, and Kwak Dong Yeon together again after 6 years feels like a dream come true. They recently starred in a variety show together, and I really love seeing their cute banter with one another.

Kim Soo Hyun and IU of “Dream High” and “THE Producers

These two are one of my favorite friendships ever. Since starring in “Dream High” and “THE Producers” together, Kim Soo Hyun and IU have been constantly spotted showing their mutual support for one another. Kim Soo Hyun is a fan of IU’s music and regularly attends her concerts to show his support. The two are also frequently spotted making cameo appearances in each other’s TV shows and delivering food trucks to each other’s dramas.

Rowoon and Lee Jae Wook of “Extra-ordinary You

SF9 Rowoon and Lee Jae Wook became great friends despite playing rivals in the romantic comedy high school drama “Extra-ordinary You.” Even after three years, Rowoon and Lee Jae Wook remain close friends; just recently, Rowoon sent a food truck to the set of Lee Jae Wook’s drama filming with the banner, “It’s baby Jaewook’s meal time.” I really love their friendship!

Lee Jong Suk and Kim Woo Bin of “School 2013

Lee Jong Suk and Kim Woo Bin, who co-starred in the coming-of-age film “School 2013,” are longtime friends and are frequently seen supporting each other, and Lee Jong Suk recently shared a snapshot of the two of them hanging out. In addition, Jong Suk posted a picture of the two of them last year, shortly after he had been released from military service.

Lee Min Jung and Bae Suzy of “Big

Lee Min Jung and Bae Suzy, who both starred in the fantasy romance “Big,” have an amazing friendship that we witness on their Instagram accounts! Lee Min Jung and Suzy are always seen interacting on social media whenever the two post something. Suzy also sent a gift to Lee Min Jung when she gave birth to her son!

Lee Sung Kyoung and Kim Min Jae of “Dr. Romantic 2

Ever since the drama ended, we’ve still seen continuous interaction between Lee Sung Kyoung and Kim Min Jae of “Dr. Romantic 2“! Last year, the two had a dance collaboration, and they often send food trucks to each other’s events as a show of mutual support. Kim Min Jae gave Sung Kyoung a food truck and came to see her in June to show his support as she filmed “Shooting Stars.”

WJSN Bona with “Girls’ Generation 1979” and “Twenty Five Twenty One” Casts

WJSN Bona, Yoe Hoe Hyun, and Min Do Hee of “Girls’ Generation 1979 ” had a mini-reunion when the two visited Bona’s concert last June! Also, Kim Tae Ri, who became Bona’s close friend after starring in the coming-of-age romance drama “Twenty Five Twenty-One,” went to support Bona when she attended her concert!

“Hospital Playlist” Squad

Everyone became emotional as their beloved squad, Hosplay, reunited for a short time to mark the first anniversary of the drama’s second season. At Cho Jong Seok’s fan meeting, we were also able to get sight of Jung Kyung Ho, Kim Dae Myung, and Jeon Mi Do, a mini 99z squad reunion!

There are really a lot more reunions and cute interactions I witnessed this year from our favorite Korean stars, but we’ll save that for next time! In the meantime, let’s watch and support them all by checking out their shows on KOCOWA!
