BTOB members Yook Seong Jae, Jung Chae Yeon, Yeonwoo, and Lee Jong Won are all confirmed to lead the MBC webtoon-based drama “Golden Spoon.” It’s a powerful cast, and I know all of us are excited about this drama!
“Golden Spoon” is based on the popular Naver webtoon of the same name by writer Seong Hyeon Dong. The drama will tell the life adventure of a child born into a poor family and how he used a mysterious golden spoon to switch fates with his friend who was born into a wealthy family.
The webtoon was serialized on Naver in June 2016 and ended with a total of 106 chapters in June 2018. It became a sensation on Naver and was highly praised for asking the question of whether choosing between money and family could bring a person closer to happiness.
In the upcoming drama, Yook Seong Jae, a member and actor of the group BTOB, will be playing Lee Seung Cheon, a student who dreams of turning his life around with a golden spoon.

Yeonwoo will play the role of Oh Yeo Jin, the pretty daughter of a wealthy family who has a bold personality. Expectations are high for the chemistry that Yeonwoo will show with Yook Seong Jae and Jung Chae Yeon.

“Golden Spoon” is scheduled to air on MBC this summer after So Ji Sub and Im Soo Hyang’s “Doctor Lawyer.”
