“Our Golden Days” Episodes 29 & 30 Recap:
- Ji Hyuk continues to have doubts about Eun Oh’s biological mother. However, Eun Oh refuses to believe that Seong Hee could be such a cruel person. She insists their first encounter at the subway was nothing more than a coincidence, not something planned.

- Meanwhile, Sang Cheol finally passes the exam he’s been preparing for over the years, and at the same time, Ji Hyuk successfully acquires AP Group. The two pieces of good news bring joy and celebration to the entire family.
- But Seong Hee can’t help feeling anxious after hearing that Seong Jae was promoted at work. Her patience is wearing thin, she desperately wants her biological son, Woo Jin, to receive his liver transplant soon so he can take his place as the family’s heir.

- Soon Hee, the woman who raised Eun Oh since birth, experiences mixed emotions after learning that Eun Oh has found her biological mother. She even visits the place where Seong Hee works, and seeing her in person makes Soon Hee realize that Seong Hee might have really lost her child rather than abandoned her, as she had believed all along.
- On Eun Oh’s birthday, her family and friends celebrate with warmth and sincerity, filling her day with overwhelming love. But as she heads home, she finds Seong Hee drunk and crying on a playground. The moment Seong Hee spots Eun Oh, she breaks down and begs her for a liver transplant, even saying she’s willing to get a divorce. Moved by Seong Hee’s emotional act, Eun Oh falls for it, she tells Seong Hee not to divorce and agrees to donate part of her liver.
- When Seong Hee returns home, Yeong Ra is waiting, suspicious that her mother might be having an affair.

- Soon Hee later learns that Eun Oh is planning to go through with the transplant. Shocked, she becomes determined to protect Eun Oh from Seong Hee’s manipulation. She storms into Seong Hee’s office, shouting that she will never allow Eun Oh to go through with the surgery. When Eun Oh returns home, she tells Soon Hee she’s going to New York for a month to study, but Soon Hee immediately realizes it’s just a cover story for the surgery. She refuses to give her permission, leaving Eun Oh torn between her biological mother and the mother who raised her with love.
- Not backing down, Seong Hee visits Soon Hee’s restaurant and coldly warns her not to interfere. If Eun Oh doesn’t go through with the surgery, Seong Hee says, her brother will die, and that guilt will haunt Eun Oh forever.
- Meanwhile, Yeong Ra’s suspicion grows stronger. She tracks her mother’s location and discovers that Seong Hee has been secretly visiting a nearby hospital.

- Despite her doubts, Eun Oh decides to proceed with the liver transplant. But one thing still bothers her, the project Seong Hee initially gave her, which first brought them together. Curious, Eun Oh revisits the project site and finds it completely different. After speaking with a realtor, she discovers the building was rented, not owned by Seong Hee. That’s when the truth hits her: Seong Hee approached her with a hidden agenda from the very beginning, using her purely for the liver transplant.
