- Eun Oh is left heartbroken after Ji Hyuk bluntly rejects her. No matter how hard she tries, she can’t understand why he pushed her away so coldly—especially knowing his past relationships.
- At home, Ji Hyuk cancels his moving-out plans after discovering that his father was mistreated by the very company he retired from, and can no longer work in a new position. Determined to protect his family, he decides to stay and shoulder the weight instead of leaving.
- On the surface, Ji Hyuk and Eun Oh act as if nothing ever happened, but Eun Oh’s close friend sees right through it. She knows about the confession and finds it strange that they’re pretending nothing has changed.
- Things only get more tangled when Ji Hyuk confronts Seong Jae for leaking the news of his breakup to Eun Oh.
