Ju Sil finally unleashes all the suppressed anger she has been holding in after Cheon Soo turns to Kwang Sook for financial help. Now desperate following his wife’s return from the States, he sees no other option. Unable to tolerate it any longer, Ju Sil firmly tells the brothers that her daughter should not be treated as the family’s personal banker.
Dong Seok’s son, Han Kyul, has consistently shown interest in Se Ri and is now determined to formally ask her parents for her hand in marriage. This is welcome news to Se Ri’s ambitious father, Go Tak, who sees an opportunity to leverage Dong Seok’s wealth for his own benefit. However, Se Ri is far less enthusiastic about the marriage than Han Kyul.

Heung Soo makes it crystal clear that Ok Boon is not his type and that he wants nothing to do with her. Devastated, Ok Boon, a longtime secret admirer of Heung Soo, struggles to accept this. She knows that his girlfriend—one of his dance class students—is not the person Heung Soo believes her to be. Out of genuine concern, she tries to warn him, but her efforts backfire, and he ends up mistaking her for an obsessive stalker.

While diligently working as Bum Soo’s TA, Se Ri begins to develop feelings for him.
Kwang Sook reluctantly agrees to go on blind dates to fulfill her mother’s wishes, despite having no genuine interest in dating. She devises a plan to appear money-hungry and terminally ill so that none of the men will ask her out for a second date. This way, she can keep her promise to her mother while avoiding unwanted relationships.

Dong Seok happens to be at a café where Kwang Sook is having a business meeting. Already frustrated with her, his perception of her worsens after hearing Go Tak’s remarks the other day.

One man is undeterred to win over Kwang Sook’s heart regardless of what she introduces herself to be—persistent in his pursuit of her. He takes her on a date, eager to show her who he is and what he does. They arrive at a golf range, where he reveals that he is a professional golfer and offers her a private lesson. Coincidentally, Dong Seok is also there practicing and can’t help but notice Kwang Sook with this new man. To everyone’s surprise, Kwang Sook demonstrates exceptional golf skills. Later, the golfer invites her to participate in a VIP golf lesson, where he showcases techniques to high-profile guests. Dong Seok, unexpectedly chosen as a demonstration model, embarrasses himself by failing to hit the ball and falling, prompting Kwang Sook to burst into laughter.

Se Ri’s parents are thrilled to invite Han Kyul over, but at the last minute, Se Ri rushes off to the university to help Bum Soo. While there, she ends up babysitting Bum Soo’s daughter, Ha Ni. When Ha Ni falls ill, Se Ri takes her to the hospital with Bum Soo. Meanwhile, Mi Ae repeatedly calls Se Ri, urging her to return home immediately since Han Kyul is arriving soon. However, Se Ri prioritizes taking care of Ha Ni over everything else. By the time she finally gets home, Han Kyul is already there, but her mind remains preoccupied with Ha Ni.

Heung Soo rushes into marriage with his new girlfriend, but Kwang Sook urges him to reconsider. She recalls Ok Boon warning her that Heung Soo’s girlfriend is not who he thinks she is.
Dong Seok spots Kwang Sook entering a hotel room that he owns and is shocked that she continues to meet new men. Confronting her, he demands that she stop acting like a gold digger.
