- Meanwhile, Han Gyeol, who’s long been seen as Se Ri’s future husband, won’t stop trying to win her heart. The moment he’s discharged from the military, he runs to her with a bouquet in hand, thanking her for waiting for him. Se Ri is caught off guard but accepts the flowers. Just then, Beom Soo walks by. Se Ri, startled, hides the bouquet behind her back—afraid of how Beom Soo might take it. Gyeol introduces himself as Se Ri’s boyfriend, leaving her visibly uncomfortable. Later, when Se Ri steps into Beom Soo’s office, she clears the air: she and Han Gyeol are not in a romantic relationship.
- Se Ri is struggling. Her entire family is swept up in wedding plans—everyone except her. She wants to take things slowly, especially because she has someone else in mind. But her mother keeps pushing forward without pause.
- Bom is preparing to launch a small branch under LX Fashion and working directly with Dong Seok. She invites Gang Soo—her savior and trusted friend—to join as an intern. But he gently declines, explaining that he still needs to figure out what he truly wants in life.

- Kwang Sook collapses from a car accident and is admitted to the hospital. Coincidentally, Dong Seok is recovering in the next room due to severe back pain. The two end up bonding by sharing comic books and light-hearted moments. Dong Seok, whose feelings for Kwang Sook have been quietly growing, cherishes this unexpected time together.
- Trouble finds Heung Soo when members of his ex-girlfriend’s past gang show up to threaten him. Only then does he uncover the truth about her dark past—and realizes just how much Ok Boon has been protecting him all along.
- Se Ri hears that Beom Soo is unwell and quietly brings him porridge. But when she arrives, he’s fast asleep. Instead, she ends up taking care of Ha Ni and tidying up the whole house. When Beom Soo finally wakes up, he’s stunned to see Se Ri there—and even more surprised by her heartfelt confession: she just can’t stop worrying about him. Her words leave him confused and conflicted.
- Eventually, Dong Seok and Kwang Sook are discharged from the hospital and return to their normal lives. On their ride home, Dong Seok turns to her and says it felt like the best vacation he’s ever had. Even in a hospital room, being beside Kwang Sook felt like paradise.
- But the moment Kwang Sook returns to Eagle Brewery, reality hits hard. Before she can even unpack, she hears the devastating news: the company is making headlines—and not in a good way. Years of hard-earned trust and their good reputation are suddenly on the line.
