Dong Seok and the family grow increasingly concerned about Jung Soo’s health and beg her to stay in Korea with them. Sensing her memory may not last much longer, Jung Soo secretly asks Kwang Sook for one final favor: to find her first love before everything fades away.
Dokgo Tak remains silent in the investigation room and maintains that he was neither the accomplice nor the mastermind behind the scheme to defame Eagle Brewery.

Se Ri is in a tough spot after learning that Dokgo Tak was the mastermind. She feels extreme guilt toward the entire Eagle Brewery family. Bum Soo reassures her that none of it was her fault, but Se Ri can’t shake the guilt and tells him she needs to take some time off.
Heung Soo’s sandwich shop becomes a huge success after his appearance on a dance show. He and Ok Bun are thrilled to see their business thrive.

Kwang Sook slowly grows on Jung Soo, who finally approves of their relationship. Dong Seok is overjoyed and immediately proposes to Kwang Sook, who gladly accepts, followed by a romantic first kiss.
Then Kwang Sook drops a bomb: she suggests living with Jung Soo after they get married. Dong Seok is caught off guard and blurts out that she’s overstepping, saying she cares “a little too much” about others.
Kwang Sook gathers the Eagle Brewery family to ask their opinion. Everyone agrees with Dong Seok that living with your boyfriend’s ex-mother-in-law is a bit too much and feels like meddling.
Mi Ae persuades Dokgo Tak to acknowledge what he’s done and ask for forgiveness.

Ha Ni’s biological mother has been secretly seeing Ha Ni behind Bum Soo’s back, after teaming up with his babysitter.
After Heung Soo goes viral on YouTube, an old female friend reaches out to invite him onto a couple’s dating show. While he initially says no out of respect for Ok Bun, paparazzi catch them and publish fake news that they’re dating. Ok Bun is heartbroken—especially since she was the one who told him to go with the flow to gain more fame. Heung Soo runs to Ok Bun and tells her he never wants to hurt her again, and proposes marriage right away so the world knows he’s taken.
Kwang Sook finally receives a call from the man she and Jung Soo were searching for, but it’s too late. He has just passed away. Kwang Sook and Jung Soo attend the funeral, and there, Jung Soo tells her, “You should marry Dong Seok without delay.”
Dokgo Tak’s downfall is sealed by his own reckless decisions. Mi Ae holds the deciding vote that could have kept him at Silla Brewery, but she chooses to withdraw her vote. As a result, Dokgo Tak is removed from the company.

Dokgo Tak falls into a depression after being removed from the company he built from the ground up.
Mi Ae tells him this is the consequence of his greed, and that it’s better for Se Ri and everyone else now that he stepped down as the CEO or Silla Brewery.
Meanwhile, Dong Seok prepares to publicly propose to Kwang Sook.
