Surrounded by heartfelt blessings from their family, the couple began their new life together with everyone genuinely wishing them happiness.
Meanwhile, Dokgo Tak made the heartbreaking decision to divorce Mi Ae, fully aware that his downfall from the Eagle Brewery defamation scandal would soon lead to his imprisonment. He wanted to shield his family from the consequences of his mistakes. In an emotional moment with his beloved daughter Se Ri, he spoke as if he were about to embark on a long journey, urging Mi Ae to take good care of her. Soon after, Dokgo Tak was arrested, leaving Mi Ae and Se Ri in tears.
On their first night together at Dong Seok’s home, the newlyweds shared a tender moment, though Dong Seok couldn’t shake a strange dream he had. He immediately told Kwang Sook, believing it could be a sign that she might be pregnant.
Mi Ae tried to visit Dokgo Tak in prison, but he refused to see her. Se Ri, struggling to understand, gradually learned the depth of his hardships. Mi Ae, weighed down by guilt, regretted not sharing her own secrets with Dong Seok for the past 30 years.
Bum Soo later visited Dokgo Tak, sharing how devastated Se Ri had been since his arrest. He promised to do everything in his power to have him released and return to Eagle Brewery, even going so far as to apologize on his knees.
While Kwang Sook initially dismissed the idea of having a baby at her age, Dong Seok’s persistence and his conviction about his dream led her to see an OB-GYN. Convinced she couldn’t possibly be pregnant, Kwang Sook was stunned when the test revealed she was already four weeks along!
