• Da Rim and Cha Rim lose hope after their aunt discovers the money she had hidden in a metro locker is missing. Without this money, they face significant challenges, as it was crucial for their plans.
• Cha Rim resigns from her job to help Da Rim and Gang Ju recover the missing funds. However, their problems escalate further when Mi Yeon loses 10 billion Korean Won, placing them in an even more dire situation.

• Confident that her father’s will, which names her as the sole heir, will exempt her from paying taxes, she decides to use it as proof. However, Gang Ju sees this as an opportunity and steals the will, believing that without it, he can buy more time until Ji Yeon reports the missing money as inherited wealth.
• Ji Yeon quickly discovers the theft after her housekeeper reveals Gang Ju’s actions. She confronts him and demands the will’s return, but Gang Ju refuses and remains silent.
• Meanwhile, Bong Hee tells Gil Rye and Man Deuk that she plans to close the dry-cleaning business after Gil Rye leaves the hospital. However, Gil Rye and Man Deuk misunderstand her intentions. Bong Hee, secretly preparing to confess her theft of the money, entrusts Mu Rim to take care of their grandparents while she serves time in jail.
• To cover her tracks, Ji Yeon approaches a burglar in jail and persuades him to confess to stealing the 10 billion Korean Won, aiming to corroborate her claim of the stolen money without needing the will.
• Cha Rim’s designs for Gang Ju’s company begin gaining traction. As a former prominent designer at Jiseung Company, her work significantly improves the brand’s reputation.
• Bong Hee confesses to Seung Don that she had a crush on him during their college days. Seung Don is taken aback, and she wonders if her life would have turned out differently had she confessed earlier.
• A new apparel line designed by Cha Rim for Gang Ju’s company became a massive hit during its first live online shopping event. They earn significant profits, prompting the e-commerce platform to request a second live broadcast.

• Gil Rye and Man Deuk summon Mi Yeon to confront her about the money she hid in the metro locker. Unbeknownst to Mi Yeon, they had discovered her secret stash and taken it themselves after learning she had been siphoning their funds. Mi Yeon expresses remorse for her deceit.

Meanwhile, Bong Hee and Mu Rim prepare for her confession. Bong Hee decides to visit the police station after Gil Rye is discharged from the hospital.

• Gang Ju retrieves the money Bong Hee had hidden under her mattress and combines it with the profits from his clothing sales. He takes a bag of cash to Ji Yeon. However, things take a complicated turn when Bong Hee uses some of the cash to pay Gil Rye’s hospital bill. Her in-law, a senior police officer, spots the transaction and generously pays with her credit card instead. Upon handling the cash, the officer notices the crisp, new bills marked with the serial code “AA” and grows suspicious. She arrests Bong Hee on the spot.

• Upon learning of Bong Hee’s arrest, Da Rim contacts Gang Ju, who hires an attorney to represent her. Gang Ju then decides to delay returning the money to Ji Yeon, promising it later. He devises a new plan to bury the cash in its original location. Gathering those involved, he heads to Eu Ak Mountain to hide the money.

• Ji Yeon, eager for January 1 to arrive, goes to the police station as soon as the new year begins. This marks her opportunity to officially report the missing money and initiate an official investigation. Confident with the proof of the burglar’s confession, she requests a search at Eu Ak Mountain. However, Ji Yeon is puzzled to see Da Rim’s entire family present at the station. Undeterred, she insists on finding the money again in the mountains and avoids paying the 10 billion Korean Won in taxes as planned.

• Da Rim worries about Gang Ju after being unable to contact him.
• Ji Yeon and the officers search the mountain for her lost money. The bags are found buried in the exact location where they had previously come up empty-handed, and this discovery surprises them. The bags contain the complete ten billion Korean Won in cash, and Ji Yeon’s father’s last will is also inside.
• Ji Yeon knew right away that the will didn’t fit in the bag by itself. She figures out that Gang Ju put the money and the will there to desperately protect his loved ones as well as settle the matter.
