Set to premiere on February 21 at 9:50 PM KST, MBC’s new Friday-Saturday drama “Undercover High School”(planned by Namgoong Seongwoo / written by Lim Young Bin / directed by Choi Jung In / produced by Neo Entertainment and Slingshot Studio) follows a National Intelligence Service (NIS) agent who goes undercover as a high school student to track down the whereabouts of Emperor Gojong’s missing gold bullion.
Ahead of the premiere, newly released stills showcase Jin Ki Joo fully embodying her character, Oh Soo Ah, a substitute teacher navigating the corporate world at 200% effort in hopes of securing a full-time position. With her neat and polished styling, Jin not only highlights the professional appearance of a teacher but also flawlessly brings Soo Ah’s upbeat and positive mindset to life, immersing herself in the role.

Viewers are also eager to see her dynamic with Jung Hae Seong (Seo Kang Jun), who is entangled with her as a student-teacher duo. As soon as Hae Seong transfers to the school, Soo Ah finds herself constantly chasing after the endless string of incidents surrounding him. Moreover, while assisting Hae Seong in his quest for the lost gold, she ends up forming an unexpected partnership—one that teeters between teamwork and rivalry, creating an exciting “push-and-pull” chemistry for viewers to enjoy.
