I know this seems like straight-up nonsense, BUT IT’S SO GOOD!
The Classic Body-Swap
- Secret Garden: A legendary, body-swapping romantic classic about an arrogant, needy department store CEO and a hardworking, independent stuntwoman. After drinking a mysterious brew, their souls literally swap bodies, forcing them to experience life from the other’s eyes. This one was a hit.
The Emotional Masterpiece
- The Light In Your Eyes: If you want a good cry, try this critically adored fantasy melodrama about a young woman who discovers a magical watch on the beach that allows her to rewind time to save her family. Just don’t say I didn’t warn you about the crying part.
The Spooky Romance Blueprint
- Master’s Sun: After you get all dehydrated from “The Light in Your Eyes”, pop this one in. “Master’s Sun” is, first of all, funny, so it is a nice remedy. It is also a lovely blend of horror, comedy, and romance with a plot that centers on a terrified woman who lives an isolated life because she constantly sees and hears very scary ghosts. But her life changes when she meets an arrogant shopping mall CEO whose physical touch causes the spirits around her to instantly vanish. Hello, human shield, also called the excuse for “skinship” over and over and over again.
