I am seriously in denial that it is December! The last month of the year! This year has so many legendary K-Dramas people will talk about well into 2022 (and beyond!). But, KOCOWA still has a few more tricks up our sleeve for the last month of 2021. Without further ado – here are 4 Romantic K-Dramas to stream in December on KOCOWA:
Viewership Ratings at its Highest, 35.5%! – “Lee San, Wind in the Palace”

This K-Drama aired in 2007, but people still talk about it because it was one of the historical K-Dramas that had the highest viewership ratings when it aired, according to Nielsen ratings, Korea.

Story: At the young age of 11, Lee San witnesses his father, Crown Prince Sado’s, death, but he does not lose his cheerfulness,strong heart, and gentle personality. He even inherits his grandfather, King Yeongjo’s, intelligence and has a warm view toward humans. Lee San, who is good at studying and martial arts, becomes the next king after Yeongjo.
Song Yeon is the woman King Jeongjo loves. Song Yeon is talented in painting thanks to her father who taught her how to paint flowers in their flower garden. While running errands in the royal art department, she enters the palace and establishes a relationship with Lee San. Will Lee San be able to overcome palace schemes, stand up against maligning forces, and ascend as a king? And will he be able to achieve love with Song Yeon despite their difference in status? The Historical Suspense – “The Palace”

“The Palace” is a period drama starring Kim Sae Ron who has to bring down the secretive and rumor-driven Crown Prince Bong Seon. This drama will also star Jung Da Eun, and Seo Eun Young.
The Revenge Thriller – “Atonement”

“Atonement” is a suspense thriller that takes place when three women who lived with the traumas of sex crimes gather for the revenge. Cho So Yeon, Jung Yi Seo, and Jo In are raising expectations for the viewers with conflicts and twists due to the secrets hidden by the three as well as tension that makes your hands sweat.
Another Historical K-Drama – “The King of Tears, Lee Bang Won”

Cast: Joo Sang Wook, Kim Yeong Cheol
Story: A story that depicts the historical figure, Taejong Lee Bang Won, who was a great leader that took the initiative to establish the Joseon empire when the ancient order of Goryeo was destroyed, and the new order of Joseon was created. It will be an epic, thrilling historical that is worth the watch if you want your heart to race.
A Comical Makjang K-Drama that Will Surprise You! – “Love Twist” (Working Title)
*New and will be available on December 13, 7:50 PM KST
Cast: Ham Eun Jung, Kim Jin Yeop
Story: This story is about a family who might live a very twisted life but learn how to love and understand each other. Also, the story focuses on Oh So Ri, who is a successful career woman and a mother that owns an online shop. She was once a very popular influencer at a young age, and from all the earnings she gained back then, she was able to establish her current online shop. Hmm, looks like a person I want to root for!
The Slice-of-Life K-Drama – “Oddinary”

The “Oddinary ” is about a woman diagnosed with a panic disorder, who you can also call an epitome of misfortune icon, Kim Jae Hwa that tries to escape all the negativity in her life. Starring Kwak Sun Young, Choi Dae Hoon, and Kim Na Yeon.
Yoo Seung Ho x Hyeri Rom-Com ♡ – “Moonshine”
*New and will be available on December 20, 9:30 PM KST
Cast: Yoo Seung Ho, Hyeri
Story: A historical drama set in the Joseon Dynasty during an era of prohibition. A man of principles, inspector Nam Young, has one mission in Saheonbu – crack down on people who break the alcohol prohibition law! He meets Kang Ro Seo, who doesn’t mind doing manual labor for money, even if that means brewing alcohol during this strict alcohol prohibition policy!
