Crushology 101 Episode 3 Recap

The episode opens with Jae Yeol seeking out Bunny to confess his love, but quickly changes it to retrieving his shirt. Bunny, practical and polite (and also a bit clueless), returns the shirt and heads off, leaving Jae Yeol a bit disappointed. It’s clear he was hoping for more than just a quick exchange.
Shortly after, both Bunny and Jae Yeol are chosen as representatives for the student council. At their first meeting, Bunny is challenged to secure an interview with the elusive Sculptor J. Bunny, determined as ever, manages to track down Sculptor J and, after a persistent effort, convinces him to agree to the interview. This impresses the council and even Jae Yeol, who tries to hide his admiration.
That evening, the school holds a dinner to celebrate. Bunny and Jae Yeol end up walking home together, which provides the perfect opportunity for a car to splash water onto the sidewalk, and Jae Yeol shields Bunny from getting drenched. Both end up soaked, but they share a laugh, and the moment softens the tension between them.

The next day, Bunny and Jae Yeol conduct the interview with Sculptor J. It becomes clear that, whenever the three are together, there’s a noticeable tension. Jae Yeol’s unease is clear as he watches Bunny and Sculptor J interact, while Sculptor J seems to enjoy the subtle rivalry, making pointedly friendly remarks to Bunny that leave Jae Yeol quietly fuming.
After the interview, Bunny and Jae Yeol stay behind to clean up and accidentally get locked in a storage room. At first, they joke about their situation, but Bunny soon grows visibly uncomfortable—her stomach starts acting up, and she confesses she really needs to use the bathroom. How horrible!
The urgency and embarrassment are palpable. Jae Yeol, realizing the situation, manages to break the door latch and get them out just in time, saving Bunny from a truly embarrassing moment. They grow a bit closer after this, which is shown in their easy conversation afterwards.
Later, while walking with Ji Won, Bunny finds out that the model for her class is a no-show. Thinking quickly, she convinces a reluctant Jae Yeol to fill in. The scene is filled with nervous energy—Jae Yeol is self-conscious and keeps looking at Bunny, Bunny is infatuated and keeps looking at Jae Yeol. Though, technically, she does have a reason since she is sketching him.
Meanwhile, Jae Yeol continues to notice Bunny spending more time with Sculptor J, and the tension between the three remains high whenever they’re together. Jae Yeol tries to warn Bunny to be careful, because he saw Sculptor J in a borderline inappropriate situation with another student (Sculptor J was a bit too close to this student as if he were flirting with her). But Jae Yeol’s vague caution only frustrates her.

In this episode, Ji Won continues to be lovingly adorable. He invites Bunny to help him pick out a birthday present for his sister so they visit a camera shop, and Bunny recommends a DSLR camera. Their easy relationship is a stark contrast to the charged atmosphere she has with Jae Yeol and Sculptor J.
Later that week, Bunny invites Ji Won to a pajama party with her close friends. The gathering is lighthearted and fun, giving Bunny a chance to relax and Ji Won a chance to bond with her outside of campus pressures.
The episode ends with Jae Yeol uneasy about Bunny’s growing bond with Sculptor J, especially since he thinks Sculptor J is a sleezy jerk. He absolutely doesn’t want her to hang out with Sculpture J at all, ever!
Which is why he ran around campus looking for them, only to pull her away from her ice cream date with Sculpture J in about as dramatic a way as you can.
Crushology 101 Episode 4 Recap
Episode 4 is all about proving that Scupture J is a scumbag. We can’t let Bunny fall for two jerks back to back, right!
We open in the student council office where Jae Yeol sits at his laptop reviewing the video interview with Sculptor J. He switches to audio from a small recording device he had secretly placed on Sculptor J during their last meeting in the studio. The device picks up a private conversation back in Sculptor J’s studio, where he hears a charmed woman talking with Sculptor J.
Jae Yeol’s suspicions are confirmed: Sculptor J is manipulating multiple women on campus.
Without wasting any time, Jae Yeol quickly leaves the office and finds Bunny outside the campus café, where she’s eating an ice cream and chatting with Sculptor J. He pulls her aside (literally pulls her by the wrist) and tries to warn her, telling her not to trust Sculptor J. Bunny, ipset by Jae Yeol sticking his nose where it doesn’t belong, brushes him off and insists she can handle herself.
Jae Yeol seeks the help of his rival in prettiness, Ji Won. He lets Ji Won listen to the recording and wants him to convince Bunny that Sculptor J is a sleaze.
Ji Won quietly runs his own background check on Sculptor J. He gets a lot of photos of Sculptor J and different women, then meets Jae Yeol in the editing suite to confirm that Sculptor J has been dating more than ten girls on campus. The two realize they need to act fast to protect Bunny, who is just head over heels for Sculptor J at this point.
That evening, the art department is buzzing as students and faculty gather for Sculptor J’s highly anticipated exhibition in the main gallery. Bunny arrives early to help set up, still believing in Sculptor J’s sincerity. As she steps into a quiet back corridor to look for him, she witnesses Sculptor J kissing another woman, but not only that, he used the same affectionate words he’d used with her! Stunned, Bunny retreats to the restroom to compose herself.

But in true Bunny form that we have grown to love, Bunny gathers her courage and returns to the main gallery. She is on a mission! She confronts Sculptor J in front of the crowd about being a dirtbag and grabs a bucket of melted ice from the refreshments table and pours it over him! The room falls silent. Bunny leaves, heated!
Jae Yeol comforts her outside by using his jacket to cover her up so she can cry in peace. She is thankful, and when she’s done, he lets Ji Won drive her home.
Later that night, Bunny sits in her dorm room with her closest friends, trying to process the betrayal. They ask her how she’d feel if Jae Yeol or Ji Won confessed to her. Bunny isn’t sure, but she is left thinking a lot more about each man.
In a moment of poetic justice, the friends check the news and find out that everyone who backed Sculptor J, immediately withdrew their support, and within hours, Sculptor J had lost his scholarship and must leave the university immediately.
Later that night, after directing a successful student film on campus, Jae Yeol takes his team out for drinks and probably has a bit too many. Inebriated, Jae Yeol wanders the yard like a confused zombie and finds Bunny sitting alone on a bench under the trees. Unsure if he’s dreaming, he stands in front of her on the steps and quietly admits that he’s liked her for a long time—even before they met at Yein University. Flashback to all the moments he’s noticed her before they actually met on the steps.
He rests his drunken head on her shoulder, and Bunny is left speechless as the campus lights flicker in the distance.
