If you haven’t heard, Yu Jae-Seok has been looking for members to create a co-ed group! And it seems that the first-generation girl group Fin.K.L member Lee Hyori and solo singer Rain have a very high chance of being in it.

The reality show “How Do You Play” is working a project named “Summer X Dance X Yu Jae-Seok.” Through this project, Yu Jae-Seok aims to form a co-ed group with celebrities to perform upbeat summer dance songs that were popular in the ’90s. So far, singers Lee Hyori, Hwang Kwang-Hee, Henry, and Rain were some of Yu Jae-Seok‘s candidates to be in the co-ed group.

Unfortunately, after going to each one of them, the MC thinks that Hwang Kwang-Hee and Henry were not a good fit for the group. He wanted Kwang-Hee to be both a dancer and singer of the group that he is forming, but Kwang-Hee’s dance moves did not impress him. He thinks that the moves are somehow still lacking for an upbeat summer song.

Yu Jae-Seok went to visit Henry after, he wanted Henry to be a rapper who will rap a few lines in English. But he soon realized that Henry’s music style is too unique for the ideal 90’s summer song that Yu Jae-Seok wants to create. He did not see a need to include string instruments in his summer songs, but Henry insisted on it. Hence, Yu Jae-Seok had no choice but to look for his next candidate.

Rain was his next. After watching his dance moves and listening to him singing, it seems that Yu Jae-Seok has found Rain to be promising as a member of his co-ed group.

Lee Hyori was his first candidate, and needless to say, the first-generation girl group member was as excited as Rain to form a co-ed group with Yu Jae-Seok. Their enthusiasm might be exactly what led Yu Jae-Seok to team up with them.

In the next episode of “How Do You Play” that will be airing on May 30, you will be seeing little surprises such as Lee Hyori dancing to Rain‘s song, “Gang” and Rain dancing to Lee Hyori’s song, “10 Minutes”!
